Holiday apartment with a balcony, a roof terrace and use of a garden with plenty of space for playing
This holiday apartment is on the southern shore of Lake Balaton. The detached house with two residential units (a holiday apartment on the ground floor and an attic apartment with a separate external entrance) in Balatonszárszó (south shore between Siofok and Balatonlelle) stands on a 1800m² site with large lawns and fruit trees.
The attic apartment has two bedrooms, one with a double bed (180 x 200cm), the other with either a double bed (140 x 200cm) or two single beds (90 x 200cm). There is a bathroom with a bath and a separate guest WC. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, kettle, coffee machine, tableware, cookware and has a dining corner. The whole roof was renewed in 2017 and all the rooms were fitted with new ISO windows, so that there is a pleasant indoor climate even in hot weather.
The apartment has a 12m² balcony and a 20m² furnished roof terrace. The generous garden of 1400m² for shared use with the attic apartment provides a grill area, an 800m² playing lawn, a table tennis table, badminton sets, a slide, swing, a wooden Wendy house with a sandpit, a trampoline (402cm diameter), various children’s vehicles, as well as a bouncy castle with a slide. Up to six cars can be parked on the enclosed site.
We can provide highchairs and cots free of charge. Note that smoking is NOT permitted in the apartment, only on the roof terrace or balcony.
The nearest shopping facilities are about 200 metres away, the nearest restaurant about 400 metres. It is about 800 metres to the free sandy beach with free parking spaces right at the entrance. The southern shore of Balaton is suitable for families and young people, for a relaxing or active holiday. Active holidays have a long tradition at Balaton: tennis, riding, sailing, water sports, fishing, cycling and hiking. The beaches are suitable for families with young children. The lake is sandy and flat here, so even the smallest children can have fun in the water. The sandy beach in Balatonszarszo invites you to go swimming and to relax. The well-tended lawn has plenty of loungers and play equipment for all ages. After a long day by the lake, various activities await you: railway tours, concerts and events at the Süsü children’s theatre, craft lessons, street festivals or a pleasant evening on a traditionally run family riding farm with cart rides and delicious Hungarian meals – where grandma still bakes strudel for you. The well-developed infrastructure on the estate, the 250 shops and restaurants provide good services for visitors. Balatonszarszo offers fun for the whole family.
