Holiday apartments in a picturesque country house with a garden, just a short walking distance from Lago Maggiore


The country house is located in Verbania at Lago Maggiore, just 700 metres from the centre and from the lake.

The country house was built at the end of the 19th century. It has been renovated, preserving the original features. It comprises two holiday apartments, both with an independent heating system. The house provides a shared laundry room.

The garden is shared by guests at both apartments and has tables and chairs for enjoying meals outdoors, and deckchairs for relaxing sunbathing. There is a barbecue and a table tennis table. Some bicycles are provided for guests. There is parking space on site.

The holiday apartments are the ideal accommodation for families. The owners live on the same site and are happy to assist guests with any queries.

The house is in a very quiet location, even though it is very close to the town centre. Within a few minutes’ walk you can get to shops, restaurants, boat piers and bus stops, providing connections to all the places of tourist interest. You can spend a quiet holiday here without even needing to use a car at all. It is the ideal starting point for trips around the surrounding area, to Milan and the canton of Ticino in Switzerland, and places with a variety of beautiful landscapes, unique in Italy, from the rice fields on the plains to the glaciers of the Alpine peaks on the Swiss border, from he lake to the picturesque medieval villages by the lake, to the Borromean islands and the botanical gardens of Villa Taranto and the Valgrande National Park.

Ground-floor apartment

The ground-floor apartment comprises a fully-equipped kirchen-diner, a living room with a sofa bed for two people and a fold-out pouf as a single bed, a bedroom with a double bed and a cot, as well as a wheelchair-accessible bathroom with a WC, bidet and washbasin. As the apartment is architecturally barrier-free, it is also suitable for wheelchair users. The bathroom is fitted with handles, a WC-shower and a walk-in shower. The windows of the apartment face the garden.
