The house is in a quiet, sunny area in the little old village of Loggio-Valsolda, 10km from Lugano in Switzerland, with a magnificent view of a wonderful landscape.
The house was built in the 12th or 13th century and has been newly renovated. It is comfortable and spacious. It provides a modern interior with a well-equipped kitchen (12m²) on the ground floor. There are two large lounges (one is 32m² on the ground floor) with seating furniture, a dining table and an open fireplace. The bathroom on the first floor has a bath, shower and WC. There are also two fairly small bedrooms (around 12m²), and above them a gallery with three beds. In the cellar there are a washing machine and a drying room. The house offers a unique atmosphere, with some medieval aspects, framed by a unique mountain and lake setting.
There is a terrace with seating and a unique view.
About 150 metres from the house there is a lockable garage. Cars that are not too wide can drive up to within 20 metres of the house for loading and unloading, while wide cars can drive up to within 80 metres. A trailer is also available in the garage for transporting heavier items to the house.
The area is a unique blend of natural harmony and beauty, which has fascinated and inspired famous poets and painters for centuries.
