Penthouse in quiet location close to the beach
This wonderful furnished penthouse apartment is situated in the centre of Armação de Pêra around 800 metres from the kilometre long beach and around 500 metres from the small but pretty town.
The penthouse is on the fifth floor and has three bedroom, two bathrooms, a living room, dining room and kitchen. The bedrooms have double beds. One bathroom has a washbasin, toilet and shower and the other bathroom has a washbasin, toilet and bathtub. The spacious living room has a dining table with chairs, seating, TV with satellite receiver and access to a terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils.
The location on the top floor provides for additional peace and there is a wonderful view to the beach. There is a very spacious sun terrace with garden furniture made of wood.
The apartment is fully air conditioned, wi-fi and has a washing machine. There are parking spaces for cars in front of the house. Only small pets are permitted on request.
The kilometre long beach is close by. The name of Armação de Pêra points to the fishery past of the village. Prior to that it was only a collection of barracks where fishers of the village Pêra, a bit further away, stored their utensils. The word Armação points to the tuna nets which extend far into the ocean. The small fortress that once served a protection is still to this day visible. Since the 1960s Armação de Pêra developed into a popular bathing resort with Portuguese. Probably because the kilometre long beach extends up east. In the last years the west side with mainly tranquil beaches between high cliffs has experienced development with elegant hotels and luxury resorts being built.
