Holiday house on two floors with a large terrace and a balcony
The house comprising two floors is part of a duplex house on a quiet estate at the gateway to Gdansk, 8km from the old town, on an enclosed site with a double garage. The owners also speak German.
The first floor has an apartment with a large and romantically arranged bedroom with access to a terrace (50m², terrace furniture provided), where you can enjoy leisurely breakfasts, a coffee or can grill. Occasionally you can observe passing cranes, storks or deer. There is also a living room with a comfortable sleeping and sitting corner, also with access to the terrace. The dream bathroom has a big Jacuzzi bath for two people, a shower and a balcony with a view of green fields. The kitchen is fully-equipped for preparing meals and has a balcony on the garden side. Wireless or cable Internet access is available, as well as a DVD player and satellite TV. On the second floor there is the open attic apartment with beds for four people – a double bed and a comfortable double sofa bed. There is another bathroom with a shower. The second kitchen is fully-equipped, so you do not need to go downstairs to prepare meals.
Grocery shops, an ATM, a hairdresser, a bakery can all be found nearby within walking distance. There are good transport connections into the centre and the old town (ca. 15 mins. by car, bus stop 200 metres away). The nearest beach (long and wide) is about 20 minutes away.
The green and quiet surroundings invite you to go on walks or cycle tours. The location of the house is ideal for trips, such as Kaszuby with the capital Kartuzy (20km), Szymbark with the famous “upside-down house”, Marienburg (30km) with the larges brick building in Europe, Frombork with the Copernicus Museum, and especially the beautiful Gdansk old town with the town hall museum, the promenade, tours of the harbour etc. There is also Sopot with the longest jetty and countless cafés and restaurants. It is definitely worth going on a day trip to the Hela peninsula with its fabulous long beaches.
