Beautiful detached holiday home in the countryside with private pool and no vis-à-vis, in the heart of Provence, enjoying a magnificent view of the rounded decor of Vaucluse from the heights of the lovely hilltop village of Le Barroux. Only 1h30 from the Mediterranean beaches, nestled between Carpentras and Avignon, in the country of Ventoux, dominated by a magnificent castle of the 12th century, with its classified gardens, Le Barroux dominates a plain dotted with vineyards, lavender and olive trees. This exquisite vacation rental is located below the owners' house (but without vis-à-vis) which leave you free access to their splendid swimming pool. Overlooking the small road that climbs to the village, nestled in the broom, this small bright and modern house, with large windows opening onto nature, has a comfortable and warm interior, and a beautiful panoramic terrace. The perched village of Barroux is worth a visit, with its pretty flowery streets paved with stones. It offers a magnificent show on the plain wine of Comtat, the Monts de Vaucluse, the Dentelles de Montmirail and the Ventoux. You will be very quiet, and can discover picturesque houses and beautiful. Not far away, Lake Paty nestles in gentle wooded hills. Between Vaison-la-Romaine, Orange and the Luberon, you will not have the time to fill up your memories in these Roman towns, classified villages, with architectural wonders such as the Théâtre Antique, the Arc-de-Triomphe or the Palace of the Popes, castles and abbeys. Do not miss to discover the gastronomy of Vaucluse, very famous, with its fruits (olives, strawberries, cherries), its great wines (wines of Côtes du Rhône). At 20 minutes, the Wave Island Water Park awaits you, for a fantastic refreshing day to descend its huge slides.     “Die Ausstattung des Ferienhauses ist gut. Allerdings gibt es keinen Backofen, dafür aber eine Mikrowelle mit Backofenfunktion. Die Terasse ist wirklich schön und mit gemütlichen Liegen ausgestattet und der Ausblick auf das Chateau in Barroux ist traumhaft. Gelegentlich hört man ein paar Autos die Straße zum Ort entlang fahren, allerdings stört dies nicht. Der Pool befindet sich bei dem Haus der Vermieter. Die Größe und der Ausblick sind sehr gut, allerdings lagen am Boden des Pools einige tote Insekten.”
