This house overlooks the lake of St. Pé-sur-Nivelle, in the heart of the Basque Country, just 20 km from Biarritz. Perched on a hill, you have views of the Pyrenees from the pool. The lake has a beautiful beach and many services, restaurants and cafés. Cambo and Sare are bases for mountain hikes and climbs. Espelette is famous for its peppers. Old harbor in St. Jean-de-Luz. Biarritz with stores, museums, aquarium, golf. Visit San Sebastian. NB! The discreet owner occasionally lives in a small apartment under the house.

    “Sehr schönes Wohnobjekt und wunderschönes Grundstück. Modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus. Das obere Zimmer ist aufgrund der niedrigen Deckenhöhe für größere Menschen nicht ganz so geeignet, die obere Toilette ist sehr eng, insbesondere wenn man die Tür schließen möchte. Bei Hitze wird das Zimmer auch sehr stickig, so dass eine Ventilation sinnvoll wäre. Dieses Zimmer lässt sich nur durch einen Vorhang von der angrenzenden Galerie trennen. Unten ist trotz des großzügigen Badezimmers die Dusche recht klein. Aufgrund dieser kleinen Unzulänglichkeiten habe ich nur 4 Häuser vergeben. Das WLAN ist extrem langsam, dies liegt aber an der Telefongesellschaft. Insgesamt aber ein sehr empfehlenswertes Objekt. Grundstück und Pool sind gepflegt und der auf dem Grundstück lebende Besitzer, ist sehr diskret und man sieht ihn selten. Er ist sehr freundlich und gibt gerne Tipps. Wir hatten insgesamt einen sehr schönen Urlaub und fühlten uns in dem Haus sehr wohl.”
