Holiday apartment for a relaxing holiday, ideal for a family with children

This holiday apartment is on the ground floor of a two-storey residential house and is in a quiet location in a little hamlet in the east of Sachsen, below the owner’s apartment.

You enter the apartment through a separate entrance from the outside and step into an entrance. Next to this room on one side there is a private bathroom, and on the other side the separate kitchen providing access to the other rooms in the apartment. The living space of 50m² comprises a bedroom with a double bed, a spacious living room, a separate kitchen and a shower room. You can enjoy a relaxing holiday as a couple, or four people with a child. The 16m² has a double bed with two individual mattresses, a mirror and a generous wardrobe with ample storage space for your luggage. The same bedroom has a pull-out bed for a third and fourth guest, but it is only suitable for a maximum of an adult and a child. The living room exudes cosiness. You can sit together in the sitting corner with a comfortable corner sofa for four people and relax there after a trip. Satellite TV provides entertainment. Next to the living room there is a fully-equipped kitchen unit with a dining table for four people. The kitchen unit has a stove with a four-ring ceramic hob and an oven, a fridge with a freezer compartment, a microwave, a dishwasher and a coffee machine for convenient self-catering. You can enjoy a view of the garden from the living room and the bedroom. The shower room is fitted with a shower cubicle, a WC and a washbasin. Towels and bed linen are included. The friendly owners are happy to provide advice and they hand the apartment over to you personally.

In front of the house you have access to the fenced garden. You can sit in the sitting corner and on the garden furniture and use the grill for a sociable grill evening. Enjoy the extensive view of the surrounding nature and of the flower bed all around the fountain. If you arrive by car there are two parking spaces on site. The property has several annexes, as it used to be a small farm. The site totals 2000m². Beyond the fence there is a meadow, ideal for children to run around or play football in.

As the property is in a little hamlet of three houses, you can benefit from peace and quiet and the surrounding nature for a relaxing holiday. There are shops 2km away. Restaurants and the 1000-year-old regional town of Bautzen with the restored old town are 8km away. There is also a monument to the former Stasi prison and the leaning tower and museums are worth a visit. You can also sample the well-known local Bautzen mustard. A cinema and a theatre provide entertainment. It is the centre of the Oberlausitz area in a bilingual region. Apart from German, the Slavic language Sorbian is spoken. Children will enjoy a visit to the famous dinosaur park, the miniature park and the maze in Kleinwelka 3km away. All three establishments are next to each other and are open from April to October. You can go on extensive walks and cycle tours from the apartment into the heath and pond landscape, with a well signposted cycle path network. The city of Dresden is about 50km away and easy to get to along the motorway. It is also about 50km to the border with Poland and the Czech Republic.

    “Sehr schöne saubere Unterkunft, bei der Einrichtung wurde an alles gedacht, um einen schönen erholsamen Urlaub zu haben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Nach einen stressigen Alltag, ist die ruhige Lage mit Blick in die Natur sehr zu empfehlen, um wieder neue Kraft zu tanken. Die Vermieter sind sehr nette freundliche Leute, die uns ein paar Tipps zu Ausflügen gegeben haben.”

    “Positiv: Wir waren zwar nur zwei Nächte in dieser Unterkunft, aber es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Uns hat es an Nicht's gefehlt. Ein gepflegtes Grundstück und eine liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung. Ideal für Familien mit Kindern. Da das Grundstück etwas außerhalb liegt, können sich die Kinder richtig austoben. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kurz gesagt, immer wieder eine Reise wehrt. Negativ: Keine! Freizeit: Dinosaurierpark in Kleinwelka.”
