Il Lauro is a beautiful country house which enjoys a wonderful hilly position, a few minutes from the medieval town Cortona. This little stone house is furnished according to the typical Tuscan style, ideal for those who wish to spend a vacation in the name of tradition. The apartment is made up of a cosy siting room with fireplace, dining area, fully fitted kitchen, two double bedrooms (one with ensuite bathroom) and a bathroom with tub. The stone loft has two extra single beds, ideal for children. It's the fully furnished and painstakingly-kept garden which will make your vacation at Il Lauro unforgettable: from here you will enjoy a great view of the whole valley, dip into the magical peace of the Tuscan countryside. Pool to be shared with the guests at Il Ciliegio only. The old wood-burning oven can be used by the guests to prepare a delicious pizza following the recipe of the Italian tradition. There are a number of walks you can explore including the old Roman road that takes you to Cortona in 40 minutes. Il Lauro can be rented together with Il Lauretto, a cosy ensuite double bedroom with private entrance next to Il Lauro.
