Charming former monastery from the 15th century with private pool and partial view of the sea in the distance, set only 13 km from the sandy beaches of Lido di Camaiore and Viareggio. The building was converted into a two-family house. You inhabit a part of the building with a separate entrance and spread over two floors. On the ground floor: small living room with sofa bed, bathroom. On 1st floor: Spacious kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The furnishings are a combination of elements from the 18th century and ceramic products that have been manufactured by the house landlady. Around the property there is a large garden (partially terraced) and a park with olive trees. The pool and outdoor area with summer kitchen for outdoor dining are for guests only. The location is ideal for visiting not only the beaches of Lido di Camaiore, the carnival city of Viareggio or the fashionable Forte dei Marmi (21 km), but also to visit Carrara with its fine marble (50 km), the city of sculptors and statues Pietrasanta (16 km). For nature and sports lovers: The cave Antro del Corchia (34 km) in the park of the Apuan Alps with 70 km tunnels and waterholes, which make it the most important karst complex of Italy; the famous Grotta del Vento (61 km) with a stopover in Colonnata, famous for its delicacy Lardo di Colonnata (bacon); the paths of Lake Massaciuccoli (15 km) with the ruins of Roman thermal baths.     “Sehr ruhig und abgeschieden gelegen. Die Eigentümerin wohnt mit ihrer Familie direkt nebenan. Sehr netter Kontakt. Den Pool und den Bereich um das Haus hat man für sich alleine. Zum nächsten Supermarkt sind es ca. 15 min Fahrt, zum Strand 30 min.
    Die Ausstattung ist z.T. etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber es ist alles da und sauber. Wunderbarer Blick ins Hinterland und toller Pool.”

    “Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Haus. Es hat alles was man in einem Urlaub von einem Ferienhaus erwartet. Groß, geräumig und mit einer Außenküche und Grillplatz. Das Haus ist zentral zu den meistbesuchten Orten in in der Gegend. Florenz (ca. 1 Stunde) Meer (25 Minuten) Lucca (30 Minuten). Vom Haus aus ist unten im Dorf 4 oder 5 Restaurants, wo man sehr gut Essen gehen kann.”
