Renovated farmhouse with a garden and playground, centrally located in the Volcanic Eifel, ideal for hikes and for a family holiday
The holiday house is in the centre of Ellscheid right in the Volcanic Eifel, in a quiet location.
The charming, newly renovated farmhouse from the year 1929 oozes natural charm. Rooms flooded with light with a view of greenery invite you to relax. The house has two separate bedrooms each with a double bed. Both rooms have ample space to set up a junior bed. The bathroom is fitted with a bath, WC, washbasin and cupboard with a mirror. The living room includes a fully-equipped kitchen unit and a little dining corner. There is also a comfortable sitting corner with a radio, satellite TV and a DVD player. The comfortable sofa bed in the living room can accommodate two further people.
In front of the house there is the garden area with a table and chairs and a private grill. There is a playground for children with a slide, swing and sandpit in the garden.
The train station is about 15km from the apartment. It is about 2km to a big supermarket and a snack bar. Ellscheid is very close to some crater lakes and lovely hiking trails. The holiday house is very centrally located in the Volcanic Eifel. There are many trip destinations in the vicinity. The idyllic Eifel village of Ellscheid is surrounded by meadows and forests, just five minutes from Pulvermaar and close to the Eifelsteig. Apart from a well-developed hiking and mountain biking network, there are many other attractions and trip destinations all around Ellscheid, such as a tennis court or football ground (to be booked via the sports club), the Maar-Moselle cycle path, the Eifel crater lakes (the “eyes of the Eifel”), the Mürmes nature reserve in Ellscheid, a restaurant and poultry farm in Ellscheid, shopping facilities and mini golf in Gillenfeld, the Maarmuseum in Manderscheid and the Manderscheid castles, the School Museum in Immerath, the Eifel bell foundry in Brockscheid, the goat farm in Gillenfeld, the Nature Museum Darscheid with a climbing park, the Vulkanmuseum in Daun and the animal and leisure park in Klotten (near Cochem), the Vulkaneifel thermal baths in Bad Bertrich, hot air balloon rides, the Moselle, Wittlich, Trier, Koblenz or Luxembourg.
