Holiday Apartment in Okrug Gornji with Private Parking and Street View

Čiovo is one of the few Adriatic islands you can drive to. There are two bridge entries through beautiful Trogir. New bridge opened in 2018 solved previous traffic jams, so now it's a smooth drive to and from Čiovo at any time.

In the past Čiovo was a popular weekend spot for Split residents. In the new century it became a popular tourist destination. Interestingly, lately island property became hot among foreign buyers. Our, mostly European, newcomers are buying property for their vacation and to rent out.

Clean sea, great weather and island feel, closeness to many tourist attractions - all that makes Čiovo a desired vacation spot for worldwide guests.

Two beautiful towns belonging to the UNESCO's World Heritage list are nearby: Trogir 4 km away and Split 30 km away.

Airport is less than 10 km away from our location.

Many day trip destinations within 1 hour drive too.

Perfect spot for family vacation, anybody looking for relaxation or a good base for sightseeing tours.

Spacious 84m² apartment fits 4-6 people comfortably.

Two bedrooms - one with a double bed, another with two single beds (separately or put together), and an expandable sofa in the living room for two. Bedrooms have clothes hangers and drawers and there's extra storage space in the hallway.

Two bathrooms each with toilet, basin and shower.

Kitchen with big fridge, 3+1 stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toster, electric kettle, espresso machine.

The balcony is the best "room" of them all - from early morning sun to evening moon shine at sea. When there's no moonshine, stars are always there.

Nice view of the sea and islands (the nearest Solta, opposite), blue-green landscape for you to enjoy the whole day.

The balcony stretches along the entire southern side of the house.

Natural cotton curtains provide shade and privacy.
There's a dining table on one side and a sunbed on another. A few convenient shelves and a cloth drying rack with clothespins.

Additionally there's barbecue area next to the main house entrance, which is shared among our guests and hosts freely. It has a big dining table and concrete grill. It also has a neat sea view, lots of plants, privacy from street view and convenient natural afternoon shade.

The house has been built recently. It has a neat garden with Mediterranean and other plants.

It was originally built as our family coast house, but we cannot make use of all the area so we decided to rent. We are from Zagreb, but we do spend summers there and we're glad to share our house with cheerful guests.

Each flat is on its own floor, so there's maximum privacy for everybody.

The flats are comfortable - two bedrooms, two bathrooms, internet, Sat TV, air conditioning, parking space, fully equipped kitchen, barbecue area in front of the house, nice view and so close to the beach.

We are dog owners, two dogs are usually there with us.

Our house is 50 meters from the beach in a quiet touristic area. Our small street is leading straight to the sea. Only traffic there is from our neighbors and their guests. As it's a popular vacation area, most houses in the area are full or partial rentals.

Nearest concrete beach is never overcrowded, it has a friendly feel and it's only one minute walk away - perfect for quick swimming or easy to carry all the beach equipment for longer beach time.

There is one restaurant and one beach bar very near (a few minutes walk) and much more sprinkled around the island within a walking area from 10-15 mins. A lot more within driving distance!
Central beach with many facilities, day and night (bars, cocktail bars and clubs) is only 1km away.
All around the island there are various things to do – water sports, water castles for children, daily boat trips, tennis, sport center, beach massage. In Trogir there's a go-kart arena, horse riding...

One small shop is nearby, a few supermarkets 500-1500m away.

On Čiovo you can rent almost anything - jet ski, moped, boat...

    “Die Lage ist sensationell. Zwar nicht in der allerersten Reihe, aber rechts, in der Mitte und links Blick auf's Meer. Sie können Frühstück und andere Speisen vom Balkon/Loggia einnehmen mit der Aussicht auch auf die Inseln Solta, Brac und Hvar. Wahlweise ziehen Kreuzfahrtschiffe vorbei oder die SNAV oder Jadrolinja schippern die Küste entlang. Ausstattung prima. Alle sauber. Wenn irgendetwas fehlt kann man die sehr netten Vermieter ansprechen. Und vor dem Frühstücken kann man im Meer schwimmen, so nah ist es.”

    “Très propre et spacieux. Par contre pas de machine à laver et le lave vaisselle fait beaucoup de bruit. Terrasse agréable et grande. Parking du logement pas facile rue en forte pente et petit parking.”

    “Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung, super Lage mit Blick vom Frühstückstisch zum Meer...Erholung pur. 3 Minuten Fußweg zum Meer mit Liege- und Bademöglichkeit. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung war sehr gut, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher, Toaster, Geschirrspüler... In ca. 5 Minuten Fußweg erreicht man einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen, wo man viele Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs kaufen kann (einschließlich jeden Tag frische Brötchen und Brot). Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
    Das einzige Manko dieses Urlaubes war das Verlassen der Insel, mitunter brauchten wir 1 bis 1,5 Stunden. Dies sollte man beachten, wenn man einen Ausflug machen möchte. Aber im nächsten Jahr soll die neue Brücke fertig sein, dann ist das kein Problem mehr. Unser Fazit: sehr empfehlenswert.”

    “What you see is what you get. Nice apartment with all that you need for your holidays. Very nice owners. They helped a lot with information. Open-minded, nice and friendly. For your pet, there is a nice terrace where your dog can stay. The beach is made from concrete terraces and every 10m or so there is a ladder. Not to many people give a friendly aspect.”

    Sehr freundliche Vermieter mit nützlichen Tipps / Schöne ruhige Lage mit tollem Blick aufs Meer / Kurzer Weg zum Meer / Sauber und in gutem Zustand / Komplette Ausstattung / Doppelbett mit getrennten Matratzen / Deutsche TV Programme / Fliegengitter in den Schlafräumen

    Minus:
    Steile, enge Zufahrt und beengtes Parken - nichts für Sportwagen mit wenig Bodenfreiheit oder große Limousinen / Etwas weitere Wege d.h. zum Einkaufen liegen die nächsten kleinen Lebensmittelläden in ca. 600 mtr. / kleiner Supermarkt und Markt mit Obst und Gemüse 1200 mtr. / Wenn man Abends bummeln gehen möchte, ist man auf das Auto angewiesen

    Fazit:
    Tolle Wohnung - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder hingehen”
