For more than 100 years the area of Odsherred, with its beautiful beaches and varied landscape, has been a favorite vacation destination for the Danes. Surrounded by the Isefjord, the Kattegat and the bay of Sejerø, in whose waters the sun is reflected, you will experience a very special atmosphere on Odsherred, as hardly anywhere else in Denmark. You can spend your free time in a variety of ways. In the amusement park Sommerland Sjælland the use of all amusements is free after paying the entrance fee. There is also a swimming pool in it. Uniquely beautifully located on the bay of Nekselø you will find the exciting Odsherred Zoo in Asnæs. You might also visit the fairytale Dragsholm Castle from the 12th century. It houses a ghost and an excellent gourmet restaurant. Also visit the port of Rørvig, here you can expect a cozy atmosphere, a fish smokehouse, an associated restaurant and the ferry connection to North Zealand. Enjoy smoked fish here while your children catch crabs on the pier.
