Holiday house on a cliff with a terrace and direct access to the sea, near Etna
The spacious holiday accommodation is located in Pizziddu, a fishing village at the foot of Etna, between Catania and Taormina.
It provides four bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, a laundry room and a storage room. Owing to the location on a cliff, from the living room you can enjoy an open view of the sea and the lovely bays. The holiday house can accommodate a total of eleven people. The four bedrooms each have double beds. In addition, one of the bedrooms has a sofa bed, and there is also a double sofa bed. The kitchen provides all the standard appliances such as a stove, oven, fridge, dishwasher and espresso machine. The bathroom has a shower, and towels and a hairdryer are provided. Apart from air conditioning, the accommodation has a telephone connection and a satellite TV with a DVD player. The music system enables guests to relax to music. Books and tourist information are also available, as well as an iron and ironing board, bedlinen and blankets.
Guests can enjoy the beautiful view from the large terrace, with a cosy barbecue evening. Tables, chairs and deckchairs are provided. A special feature of this holiday accommodation is the private access to the seaside, where there are a changing cabin, an outdoor shower, a parasol and canoes for guests.
Guests can book additional services such as guided boat trips, trips and guided tours to Etna, to the fascinating cultural towns, the enchanting bays in the vicinity, typical local meals, transfers to and from the airport, train station or harbour.
It is about 15km from the accommodation to the Acireale motorway exit. For arrivals by plane, it is about 39km from the Fontanarossa airport in Catania. The Acireale train station is about 15km away, and the nearest harbours are Riposto (about 9km) and Catania (about 30km). A car is recommended for getting around locally.
