LA PERLA DI SICILIA


The beautiful small bungalow park La Perla di Sicilia consists of a total of 9 detached bungalows and is located directly on a golden sandy beach that slopes gently into the sea, on one of the most beautiful stretches of coast in Sicily.


The centre of the village and numerous beach bars are only a few metres away from the Bungalow Park.


The sandy bay is surrounded by beautiful dunes and the sandy beach, which slopes gently into the sea, invites young and old to enjoy to swim in the crystal clear water. The centre of Marina di Modica with restaurants, bars and gelaterias is only a few minutes walk away. 


Numerous excursion routes and other sandy beaches are close to the bungalows.

The holiday homes are simply furnished as well as functionally equipped. They have two separate bedrooms, a living/dining room with kitchen (in which there is a sofa bed), shower/WC, TV-Sat, W-Lan and air conditioning (in the dining area, for a fee) as well as a terrace. 


The car can be parked outside directly next to the park or on a private parking space outside the bungalow park.

The bungalows are surrounded by typical mediterrean vegetation like beautiful oleander-, lemon-, orange- and fig trees, as well as small and big palm trees. 


A newly built playground and a table tennis table provide fun for the children.


Baby cots, high chairs and children's beach toys are free of charge on request.


To get to all the interesting cities and archaeological sites in the area we advise you to rent a car. If you wish we will get a rental for you.


Please note that in the months of July and August, then when the locals go on holiday, there could be loud music till late into the night around our bungalow park, because between this period, there will be organized, dance, music and theater performances for entertainment and our quiet seaside resort comes to life.

A newly built playground and a table tennis table provide fun for the children.


The small bungalow park is located in the middle of a green subtropical park, directly in front the sandy beach and in the centre.


Ideal starting point for sightseeing.

Marina di Modica is situated directly by the seaside, between Sampieri and Pozzallo, on the most southern part of Sicily. There is a large bay with a beautiful sandy beach surrounded by numerous dunes. Marina di Modica is the ideal place for families and in spring and autumn also for people who looking for peace, quiet and want to relax.


Warm temperatures in the low season and spring like conditions in winter permit endless walks along the beautiful sandy beaches and coastlines.


Marina di Modica is certainly one of the few spots in Sicily that has not yet been overcrowded by tourism. Here, as well as in all of the region of Ragusa, you can get to know the real Sicilian life!

This bungalow is as beautiful as all the other bungalows too, but will affect the view from the terrace by a small wall and another two bungalows. Also is missing the front garden, but as an advantage this bungalow is not in transit of the guests and the terrace is a little bigger.It was never a problem for our guests in the past, but I wanted to point out. 

The bungalows are surrounded by typical mediterrean vegetation like beautiful oleander-, lemon-, orange- and fig trees, as well as small and big palm trees.

    “Der Bungalow war sehr schlicht und spartanisch eingerichtet und sehr abgewohnt. Feucht und muffig. Relativ große Terrasse, leider keine Liegen und keine Sitzkissen für die Stühle. Nah zum Meer mit guten Bademöglichkeiten. Gute Betreuung vor Ort durch die Vermieter. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis unangemessen.”

In jedem Ferienhaus und auch im Internet, steht als Information, dass man Liegestühle und Sonnenschirme in unserem Büro zu günstigen Preisen verliehen bekommt. Kissen für die Aussenstühle verwenden wir nicht, da diese aus Erfahrung schnell verschleissen oder verschmutzen, wenn sich Gäste mit den nassen Badesachen darauf setzen, aber auch diese hätten Sie von uns bekommen, wenn Sie nur nachgefragt hätten. Bezüglich der Ausstattung, sieht man auf den Fotos und steht in der Ausschreibung, dass unsere Bungalows feriengerecht eingerichtet und zweckmässig ausgestattet sind und dies für einen schönen Urlaub in der Regel vollkommen ausreicht, was unsere zufriedenen Gäste in den zahlreichen positiven Urlaubsbewertungen auch bestätigen.     “Zweckmäßig eingerichtet mit eigener Terrasse, die quasi einen zusätzlichen Wohnraum darstellt. Digitales Sat-TV mit vielen hundert internationalen Sendern. Wenn etwas defekt sein sollte, ist das kein Problem, wird von den Betreibern umgehend erledigt, wie auch alle sonstigen Wünsche und Fragen (auch zu Ausflügen auf der Insel) schnell geklärt werden können. Immer jemand als -deutsch sprechender- Ansprechpartner erreichbar. Anlage in sich geschlossen mit viel Grün, für Kinder gut geeignet. Kurze Entfernung zum Strand, auch fußläufig Supermarkt etc. - Strand sowieso. Bäcker kommt jeden Morgen mit dem Auto fast bis vor die Tür. Wirksamer Mückenschutz am Haus. In der Hauptsaison sicherlich teilweise -gerade spät abends- recht laut, das sollte Italienurlauber allerdings ja grundsätzlich nicht stören.”

Daraufhin bat ich Sohn und Vater kurz das Bett auzuprobieren und beide sagten mir das es so in Ordnung sei. Bei Ankunft informierte ich Familie Pollak, so wie ich dies auch mit allen Gaeste tue darueber, dass falls etwas an der Ausstattung (Geschirr, Toepfe, Besteck, etc.) fehlen sollte, was ab und zu vorkommen kann, da sich die Gaeste unter einander austauschen oder Geschirr waehrend des Aufenthaltes unangemeldet zu Bruch geht, sie mir sofort Bescheid geben sollen, damit ich fuer Ersatz sorgen kann. Waehrend des gesamten Aufenthaltes war dies jedoch nicht der Fall. Was die fehlerhafte Pumpe des Nachbarn angeht, habe ich mich mehr als bemueht, dafuer zu sorgen, dass diese schleunigst repariert wird. Leider habe ich darauf wenig Einfluss, da das Haus samt Grundstueck nicht zu unserer Gartenanlage gehoert und die Dame sich zu dieser Zeit in Deutschland aufhielt. Da Herr Pollak, dies auch nicht mehr beklagen kam, ging ich davon aus, dass der Schaden der Pumpe des Nachbarn behoben worden ist. Erst am Abreisetag wiess er mich erneut darauf hin und mittlerweile ist die Pumpe auf meine Kosten auch repariert worden. Es tut mir sehr leid, dass wir den Wuenschen der Familie Pollak nicht vollstens nachkommen konnten und wuerde mich freuen, wenn wir die Gaeste bei einem zweiten Versuch zufrieden stellen koennen.
