LA PERLA DI SICILIA


The beautiful small bungalow park La Perla di Sicilia consists of a total of 9 detached bungalows and is located directly on a golden sandy beach that slopes gently into the sea, on one of the most beautiful stretches of coast in Sicily.


The centre of the village and numerous beach bars are only a few metres away from the Bungalow Park.


The sandy bay is surrounded by beautiful dunes and the sandy beach, which slopes gently into the sea, invites young and old to enjoy to swim in the crystal clear water. The centre of Marina di Modica with restaurants, bars and gelaterias is only a few minutes walk away. 


Numerous excursion routes and other sandy beaches are close to the bungalows.

The holiday homes are simply furnished as well as functionally equipped. They have two separate bedrooms, a living/dining room with kitchen (in which there is a sofa bed), shower/WC, TV-Sat, W-Lan and air conditioning (in the dining area, for a fee) as well as a terrace. 


The car can be parked outside directly next to the park or on a private parking space outside the bungalow park.

The bungalows are surrounded by typical mediterrean vegetation like beautiful oleander-, lemon-, orange- and fig trees, as well as small and big palm trees. 


A newly built playground and a table tennis table provide fun for the children.


Baby cots, high chairs and children's beach toys are free of charge on request.


To get to all the interesting cities and archaeological sites in the area we advise you to rent a car. If you wish we will get a rental for you.


Please note that in the months of July and August, then when the locals go on holiday, there could be loud music till late into the night around our bungalow park, because between this period, there will be organized, dance, music and theater performances for entertainment and our quiet seaside resort comes to life.

A newly built playground and a table tennis table provide fun for the children.


The small bungalow park is located in the middle of a green subtropical park, directly in front the sandy beach and in the centre.


Ideal starting point for sightseeing.

MARINA DI MODICA


Marina di Modica is situated directly by the seaside, between Sampieri and Pozzallo, on the most southern part of Sicily. There is a large bay with a beautiful sandy beach surrounded by numerous dunes. Marina di Modica is the ideal place for families and in spring and autumn also for people who looking for peace, quiet and want to relax.


Warm temperatures in the low season and spring like conditions in winter permit endless walks along the beautiful sandy beaches and coastlines.


Marina di Modica is certainly one of the few spots in Sicily that has not yet been overcrowded by tourism. Here, as well as in all of the region of Ragusa, you can get to know the real Sicilian life!

    “Das war einfach herrlich! Die Gartenanlage war fast leer, weil wir im November die Saison-2005 geschlossen haben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefuehlt - der Bungalow ist sauber, neu restauriert und komfortabel. Der Strand ist wirklich in 2 Minuten zu erreichen. Das Meer war auch wunderschoen - absolut sauber, ruhig, leider nicht mehr warm.
    Es ist sehr empfehlenswert ein Auto zu mieten, insbesondere wenn Sie nicht nur wegen Meer nach Sizilien fliegen. Wir sind in 13 Tage 2000 km gefahren - bisschen anstrengend, dafuer aber sehr informativ, interessant und spannend.
    Der Vermieter (die Familie Guarrasi) ist sehr gastfreundlich, hilfsbereit und passen auf seine Gaeste sehr gut auf.”

    Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und sind vor Ort erreichbar.
    Die Anlage war während unseres Aufenthaltes relativ ruhig.
    Leider hat man nur die Terrasse für den Aufenthalt außer Haus. Der Garten ist zwar wunderschön und sehr gepflegt, aber vollständig bepflanzt. Es führen nur ein paar Wege zwischen allen Häusern hindurch.
    Der Strand ist vom Haus aus über einen kleinen Platz vor der Anlage in 3 Minuten erreichbar.
    Mit den Strand-Säuberungsarbeiten wurde allerdings erst Mitte Juni begonnen. Bis dahin lag noch einiger Unrat herum, den aber hauptsächlich die Einheimischen an den Wochenenden hinterlassen.
    Das Wasser ist klar und sauber.
    Es ist sehr windig, teilweise angenehm, manchmal fast etwas zu viel.
    Bis auf einige wenige Leute ist man unter der Woche oft fast allein am Strand, vor allem, wenn man etwas weiter Richtung Osten geht.
    Die "mindestens" 6 Katzen in der Anlage, die mittlerweilen Junge haben, sind sehr hungrig. Lea, die Hündin auch. In den Supermärkten ARD, coop und Dimeglio in Pozzallo wird Gott sei Dank genügend Tierfutter angeboten. Wir standen fast ganztägig unter "Belagerung" - und haben die 7 hungrigen Mäuler gerne gefüttert. Selbst die Vögel waren dankbar für jeden alten Brotkrumen und etwas Wasser.
    Ausflüge nach z.B. Agrigento, Siracusa und zum Ätna beanspruchen jeweils einen ganzen Tag und man sollte sich so früh wie möglich auf den Weg machen. Man verbringt viel Zeit auf teilweise sehr schlaglochhaltigen Straßen.
    Wir haben uns bestens erholt und können diese Anlage auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen !”
