Apartment in a detached house with a garden in a typical Canary Island small town

This holiday apartment welcomes you to spend a beautiful informal holiday in a small town typical for the Canary Islands. Lajares is located in the northwestern part of the island of Fuerteventura and enjoys a panoramic view of a volcano. The beach is some six minutes’ car drive away from the apartment.



The apartment is a separate part of this detached house which was built in 2005/06. The apartment measures approximately 42 m² of living space. The living room with open plan kitchen is spacious and comfortably furnished. The kitchen unit is fully equipped and modern, designed for a self-catering holiday. Microwave, fridge with a small freezer compartment and an oven, as well as plenty of cooking utensils and tableware are available. The living room has a sofa bed and satellite television with international channels and radio stations. The apartment also features a bedroom with a double bed, a big wardrobe and two bedside tables. A comfortable extendable sofa for a third adult or for two children is also available in the living room. The bathroom is equipped with a wash basin and toilet, and a walled shower, warm water supply is generated using a solar panel. All windows in the apartment are equipped with mosquito nets, which also have a room darkening effect.



The apartment benefits from a 12 sqm patio, furnished with a table and chairs. The building is surrounded by a fenced garden of approximately 800 sqm. Guests have free of charge use of loungers, and a car park is also available on the premises.



On request and for a small extra charge you can rent up to three mountain bikes for sportive explorations of the surrounding area. Pets are not allowed. Smoking is also prohibited.



This mini apartment is an ideal place for holiday makers who want to spend their time in Fuerteventura in total peace and quiet. The holiday accommodation is located in the typical Canary Island village of Lajares. The neighbouring area is characterized by detached houses and villas, as well as typical Canary Island houses. In the surrounding region, quasi in a 360-degree radius, there are numerous beaches such as El Cotillo, which is only a 6 minutes’ car drive away. El Cotillo is famous for its almost Caribbean-like bays, and Grandes Playas with its beautiful sand dunes is some 10 minutes’ drive away. Within a distance of approximately 700 metres from the apartment you find bars, restaurants, pizza parlours, a supermarket, and a bus stop. To get to the beaches, for shopping and for exploring the island, use of a rental car is recommended. The airport is a 35 minutes’ car drive away.

    “Das Ferienhaus ist komplett ausgestattet. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man als Selbstversorger benötigt. Die Räume sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Genau richtig für Urlauber, die nicht im Hotel, sondern individuell übernachten.”

    “Im Zeitraum vom 27.12.14 bis zum 10.01.2015 haben wir (zwei Personen) in dem hier angegeben Apartment unseren Urlaub verbracht. Die angegebene Ausstattung entsprach der Objektbeschreibung. Das Apartment verfügt über eine schöne Terrasse mit entsprechenden Stühlen, Tischen und Sonnenliegen, ein Doppelschlafzimmer, einer Schlafcouch, ein WC mit Dusche und Waschmaschine, eine Küche mit Kühlschrank mit Gefriereinheit, Herd, vorgehaltenes Geschirr und Besteck, ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer (Couch, Tisch und Stühle), TV. Sollte man etwas zum Waschen gehabt haben, dann steht einem die Waschmaschine zur Verfügung. Den Mietwagen konnten wir auf der Parkfläche vor dem Haus abstellen. Kurz um, alles was man als Selbstversorger im Urlaub benötigt. Wir waren vollständig zufrieden gewesen und haben jeden morgen den schönen Ausblick auf den Berg Montaña de la Mancha genossen. Einen besonderen Dank sende ich an den Vermieter, die uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt und uns gut über die Sehenswürdigkeiten und das Leben auf Fuerteventura informiert hat.”
