Holiday apartments in an agriturismo with a big garden and pool, surrounded by centuries-old olive groves
The agriturismo is near a little village a few kilometres from the little town of Cortona. It is in a very quiet location, surrounded by Tuscan countryside.
The agriturismo consists of three holiday apartments, which face a communally used area. They are in a stone country house from the 19th century and are completely independent. There is also a breakfast room, which can be hired for meetings or celebrations, with prices varying according to the number of people and the occasion.
The country house is surrounded by a big garden that is for the use of all guests. It consists of several terraces with a panoramic view, with a pool, parking spaces and a pine grove. The site is enclosed by fences and hedges. The pool is surrounded by a centuries-old olive grove and a lawn with a rose garden. The view stretches from vineyards and olive groves to the stream that flows around the site. In the garden and by the pool there is also wireless Internet access. Mountain bikes are available for use free of charge.
The driveway to the country house is not paved for a stretch of about 100 metres. Breakfast can be served either in the hall or in the outdoor area in front of it, on request. Cots and highchairs are available for toddlers. During the summer months, the agriturismo offers sampling of typical products from the Cortona region.
The garden provides access to a number of walking trails. The agriturismo is within easy access of towns of cultural interest: within a radius of 50km you can find Assisi, Perugia, Siena, Arezzo and Sansepolcro. You can also get to Florence easily by train in about 45 minutes. You can find shops and all other services in Camucia (8km) and Cortona (9km). There is also a small grocery shop just a few minutes’ walk away and there are two grocery shops a five-minute drive away. There is a supermarket near Camucia.
Apartment in Potassa with Common Pool and Panoramic View
The holiday apartment is on the first floor of an old granary from the 19th century, with direct access to the garden. The apartment measures around 65 m², is on one level and consists of two rooms.
The furniture is either antique or in the style of the apartment. The ceilings feature characteristic wooden beams and stone. The living room-kitchen comprises a dining space, a lounge area with a fireplace, a single bed (80 x 190cm) and a kitchen unit, equipped with a fridge, an oven and a gas stove. The bedroom has a double bed (mattress size 160 x 190cm). There is a bathroom with a shower, bidet, washbasin, WC and washing machine. It has a wireless Internet connection. Outdoor stairs lead from the square in front of the country house right into the living room-kitchen.
The apartment has a terrace in front of the entrance, with a parasol, table and chairs.
