Quietly situated holiday apartments about a kilometre from the centre of Bormio

These quietly situated holiday apartments are in a typical alpine house in the S. Lucia district about a kilometre from the centre of Bormio.

The apartments are completely independent, as each has its own separate entrance. They are furnished in an alpine style and are very cosy. Guests can use a depot room for storing skis and bicycles. There is also a shared laundry room with a washing machine. The apartments have heating, so they are ideal for both a winter and a summer holiday. Owing to the location in the mountains, air conditioning is not required. The rental price includes heating costs, energy costs and use of water, as well as wireless Internet access.

The house has a garden with a big lawn and flower beds. Deckchairs are provided, to be able to relax in the sun or under the trees. There are also tables and chairs for enjoying meals outdoors. You can use the stone barbecue for sociable grill evenings. The fenced site borders the Adda River and has a parking space.

A cot can be provided. Pets are not allowed.

The centre of Bormio can be accessed with a free shuttle bus. Bormio is known as a thermal baths centre (Bormio Terme, Bagni Vecchi and Bagni Nuove) and as a winter sports resort. You can find shops and restaurants. The town is surrounded by the highest mountains of the Stilfser Joch national park. A range of sports are available in Bormio: golf, minigolf, tennis, fishing, riding, Nordic walking, archery, swimming and ice skating. The summer ski resort Stilfser Joch is about a 20-minute drive from the apartments. The Stilfser Joch, as well as the Gavia and Mortirolpass, are a popular destination for cyclists from all around the world.

This apartment of around 90m² is on the ground floor and is also accessible from the garden. It has three bedrooms: one with a double bed (160 x 190cm) and two each with two single beds (90 x 190cm). In one of these rooms the two single beds can be joined together as a double bed and it has an ensuite bathroom. The living room comprises a lounge area with a suite, a dining space and an open cooking niche with a gas stove and a fridge with a freezer compartment, a microwave and a kettle. There is an LCD TV in the living room. The bathroom provides a shower cubicle and a hairdryer. The fireplace can be used in the winter months and the firewood can be purchased locally.

    “The house is really nice. It offers a large living and three bedrooms. In one of the bedrooms is an en-suite bathroom. The house offers a second bathroom. We were with two couples in the house and there was enough space. The house offers a large shared garage, here we could store our racing bikes. We liked the large garden as well. What could be improved was the amount of glasses etc. in the kitchen. The kitchen was new, but not really well equipped.”

    “Wij huurden het onderste niveau met 3 slaapkamers en 2 badkamers ; alles was zeer netjes en heel gebruiksvriendelijk, gemeenschappelijke garage ter beschikking voor het stallen van de fietsen, gemeenschappelijke parking achter het huis voor 3 wagens. Op een paar honderd meter een heel goed restaurant/pizzeria en een supermarkt.”

    “Zeer mooi een ruim appartement, alles was proper opgekuist toen we aankwamen! De eigenaar was zelf aanwezig en hebben we gedurende de week ook verschillende malen ontmoet.

    Bij een probleem omtrent het internet, heeft hij dit onmiddellijk opgelost!

    Vlot bereikbaar en privé parkeer mogelijkheid.
    Wij waren daar, met 5 pers voor een week fietsen rond de Stelvio en zo, ideale uitval basis.
    Ook onze fietsen konden we veilig in de garage opbergen!!

    Er is zelf een wasmachine aanwezig, wat het wassen van sportkleding makkelijk maakt.”
