Housing complex in an idyllic location in between the Sierra Nevada and the Mediterranean

This housing complex with several holiday homes is surrounded by olive groves. It comprised about one fifth of the valley (officially called Montesol), where you can find a few farms. Montesol is one of seven villages. It is the only one of the towns that can claim to have inhabitants from more than a dozen European countries. The town offers sustainable holidays by: a good distance from the next city, a rural area with a beautiful setting, the elevation, the proximity to the ocean and the Sierra Nevada (winter sports), without climatically being directly influenced by either.

In Puerto Lope (about 1.5 km), you can find a church, a school, grocery stores, restaurants, pubs, bakeries, a pharmacy, a doctor, a dentist, hotels etc.). It is also in an ideal location for hiking or horseback riding. Several horse stables can be found nearby. There is also a golf court in the vicinity. If you are a fisherman, Colomera (about 10 km) is your destination. The location is ideal to discover the cities of Cordoba, Jaen and Granada. The owner will happily supply you with information and materials upon request. We can also arrange the following activities: tennis and squash, a trip to historical cities, scuba diving, belly dancing, guitar lessons, riding lessons, night-time riding, paintball, golf, museum of Moclin, bull fights, cave paining (Molin), ultralight flights, Neolithic graves in Tozar, hunting (near Moclin - dear and wild boar), mountain climbing, visiting production sites of wine, cheese and olive oil. Additionally, from December through the end of April, winter sports in the Sierra Nevada (30 km beeline).

Country house villa in an idyllic town in the Andalusian mountains

This villa is surrounded by olive groves on a hillside. The area is famous for olive groves, Cortijos and Fincas (farms and country homes).

The 85 m² villa offers plenty of room for up to five people. The house has central heating (for cold days) and air conditioning for summer days, a fully furnished kitchen, a living and dining area, a bathroom with a tub, two bedrooms (one is furnished with a double, the other one with two single beds) and large built in closets for suitcases and clothes. An extra bed is available upon request. The lower level (Bodega, fireplace etc) can be rented upon request.

The house has a large garden, a sun terrace, a large swimming pool (6 m x 12 m) for swimming and bathing. The entire property is laid out and covered with plants, protecting the pool area from view. Several sitting areas under the pine trees in the garden, behind the house or at the pool level, are available for your enjoyment. Below the large shaded pergola are the outdoor dining area, two lounge chairs, a Hollywood swing and the barbecue.

    “Das Haus ist zwar alt und entsprechend alt sind auch die Möbel, aber die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sehr angenehm ist die Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer und Elternschlafzimmer. Auch dass es neben den spanischen Sendern auch deutsches Fernsehen gibt, hat uns sehr gut gefallen, auch wenn man in der schönen Gegend nicht so viel zum fernsehen kommt. Der Herd wird mit Gas betrieben, Geschirr und Besteck ist reichlich vorhanden. Auch Spülmittel, Handtücher.. Im Außenbereich hat man verschiedene Sitzgelegenheiten für jede Tages- und Nachtzeit und für viele Personen, auch eine Hollywoodschaukel gibt es, diverse Bänke, Stühle, Liegen.. Aber das tollste ist wirklich der sagenhaft großzügige Pool mit 70 m² und einer guten Tiefe - zum Schwimmen und Reinspringen, Rumtoben bestens geeignet. Vom Pool und dem Balkon aus blickt man auf ein Tal mit Olivenbäumen (Hanggrundstück) - ein sehr schöner Ausblick. Die Vermieter sprechen deutsch und englisch (natürlich auch spanisch) und geben jede Menge tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen. Außerdem sind sie extrem hilfsbereit und freundlich!!! Wir hatten im August zwei wunderschöne Wochen. Die Temperaturen sind auch im Hochsommer sehr angenehm.”
