“Die Lage des Hauses Nr 12 ist direkt hinter einem Erdwall der zur Hauptstraße liegt und deshalb etwas lärm geplagt. Wir waren 2 Erwachsene mit zwei Kindern (6 und 7 Jahre) und hatten mehr als genügend Platz. Der Pool war eine willkommene Abwechslung allerdings mit gefühlten 16/17C recht kalt.”

“Wonderful holiday home my family and I loved it. The views were beautiful and the setting was very quiet and peaceful. We could not see and barely hear our neighbours, so it felt nice and secluded - just what we hoped it would be.

The villa location was well chosen as the pool got the sun through most of the day. The pool and garden were South by South East facing and we were up a small hill. It was a bit cold to swim in the morning but later on it was fine. Other villas nearby i suspect were not as lucky in this regard.

There is no WI-FI actually in the villa but it's free at the reception of the operator (Estivel) We did not use it though. I did not realise this detail before i went but at least phone reception was good.

As part of the deal with Estivel we had to give it a clean at the end, this was our first Villa Holiday and i suspect this is standard practice. It sounded off putting at first but was actually no bother as it mainly consisted of general stuff like putting our rubbish in the outside bins, stripping the beds of sheets (that they provided), not leaving our food in the fridge etc, give it a sweep through and mop. However, a dedicated cleaning team comes through and cleans it after us too, so be assured cleanliness is NOT dependant on the thoroughness of the previous occupants! But we left it as we found it - spotless. My wife commented that when we arrived, it was cleaner than a Centre Parc's villa.

We had a power outage once due to a tripped a breaker (all modern RCDs), so I called reception and a technician came out in about half an hour. With my average French and his better English we traced it down to a kettle - so he just gave us a new one which cured it. Very good service I thought.

In summary we were very pleased it was as good in real life as it looked online.”

“Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen. Man hat gar nicht das Gefühl, in einer Feriensiedlung zu sein, sondern in einem Wohnort. Die Räume fanden wir sauber vor, alles war großzügig. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Das Beste ist der Garten mit dem eigenen Pool - wunderbar!”

“Gut ausgestattetes Haus mit sehr schönem Garten. Das Haus lag am oberen Ende des Ferienparks etwas abseits der Straße, was uns sehr gut gefallen hat, da wir dort absolut ungestört waren. Bei der Anreise ließ die Sauberkeit etwas zu wünschen übrig, insbesondere im Küchenbereich (verdreckter Kühlschrank). Bei der Reklamation zeigte man sich kulant: Die Kosten für unsere allmorgendliche Baguettebestellung wurden übernommen.”
