Holiday cottage near the beach

Heather Glen cottage is situated overlooking the bay in peaceful surroundings.


This cottage is one mile away from Rossbeigh Beach and close to the Ring of Kerry. There are many pubs and restaurants in Glenbeigh to enjoy.


This cottage is a perfect base for relaxing or enjoying one of the activities available locally such as horse riding, golf or admiring the scenery on the many walks available.



Featuring an open plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area with an open fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher. The cottage boasts panoramic views across Rossbeigh Beach and Dingle Bay.


There are a total of four bedrooms, three equipped with a double bed, and the fourth bedroom has two single beds (sleeping a total of 8 persons).


The property has two toilet/shower rooms and also a bath. Wifi is also available at this property. External utility room with a washing machine and dryer.


There is a large lawn to the front of this property.


Electricity and oil meter read and payable onsite to the Owner. There is strictly no smoking at this holiday cottage.



Rossbeigh Beach is accredited with the EU’s Blue Flag status for water quality. It is a nice and safe beach for good swimmers and also for non- and weak swimmers.

The beach boasts a beautiful and clean children’s playground. This is a perfect beach for kitesurfing, kiteboarding and surfing.

Further leisure activities include: fishing, golf, horseback riding, riding tours for all age groups, and hiking tours (guided or unguided).

The mountain visible in the background is a starting point for hang gliding and paragliding. The weather and thermal conditions are perfect for gliding and the mile long beach offers plenty of safe landing area.



The nearest shopping facilities are in the town of Glenbeigh, just under a 10 minute car drive away.

    “This accommodation definitely lived up to its promises with its fantastic ocean views and very spacious kitchen/dining/living area. It was sparkling clean on arrival, and our host had most thoughtfully left tea and coffee for our use. Kathleen was a friendly, attentive and responsive host, and we really enjoyed our stay.     “Beautiful fresh scones tea/coffee at house when we arrived. All our rooms and beds were v comfortable, spacious. Two bathrooms. Cosy house felt v homely. Positiv: Spacious house well equipped. Very clean and comfortable Negativ: Low water pressure, took awhile to fill kettle, shower weak”

    “Das Haus an sich hält, was versprochen wurde. Eine sehr gute Ausstattung, sauber, sehr geräumig, sauber und auch in der Küche sind genug Utensilien, um auch mit ein großen Truppe die Zeit dort zu verleben. Der Blick auf die Bucht ist auch spektakulär. Auch die Vermieter sind sehr liebenswürdig und zuvorkommend. Die Übernahme des Hauses und Abgabe war unkompliziert, Sie haben einmal vorbei geschaut und gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.”

    “Sehr freundliche Vermieterin. Das Haus war sehr sauber. Die Betten waren sehr gut. Keine gehobene Klasse, aber total praktisch. Wunderschön in den Bergen gelegen mit einem schönen Blick auf das Meer. Absolut ruhig.”
