Functionally furnished holiday apartment near the famous Canebière and the old harbour of Marseille



This holiday apartment is very near the famous street “Canebière” and the “Vieux Port”, the old harbour of Marseille. It is just a few minutes’ walk to the tram, the Longchamps metro stop and several bus stops. From the apartment you can see the magnificent Palais Longchamps with its water features.

The apartment was completely renovated in 2010. It provides 55m² of modern and comfortable living space for four people. The apartment is on the second and top floor of a house with a total of four apartments. The open kitchen is modern and fully-equipped and has a dining space, an electric stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, toaster, coffee machine and kettle. The living room provides a sofa, coffee table and flatscreen TV. Stairs leads from there up to the two spacious bedrooms under the roof, each with two single beds. The bathroom has a bath, washbasin, washing machine and WC.

There is no parking space by the house. You can park in the surrounding streets.

The district was completely regenerated in 2007 when the tram when into operation. If you cross the boulevard, then you find yourself in the gardens of Palais Longchamps, which are a cool oasis of tranquillity in summer. It is easy to get to the town centre by public transport (tram, metro, bus) right below the building, as well as the major sights and the beaches about 15 minutes away. Shops and restaurants, including the famous “Chez Vincent”, are within a radius of 200 metres from the apartment. Owing to the convenient location, it is not far to the famous “Canebière” and the old town harbour.

    “Lage und Ausstattung sind angemessen. Die Wohnung ist sauber und die Küchenutensilien sind angemessen, aber nicht hervorragend. Die Wohnung ist für vier Personen geräumig und hell. Das Treppenhaus ist eng und riecht etwas unangenehm, aber man gewöhnt sich mit der Zeit daran. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung und wir würden es aufgrund der Lage noch einmal buchen.”

    “Lage und Ausstattung der Wohnung entsprechen den Angaben.
    Sauberkeit ist schon gegeben, allerdings zeigen Küchengeräte schnell,
    wie Vormieter damit umgegangen sein müssen.
    Die Wohnung wirkt hell und freundlich.
    Sie ist ruhig, trotz der Lage an einer Straße mit Straßenbahn, Autoverkehr nur in eine Richtung.

    Sie befindet sich im 2. OG, das Treppenhaus ist eng, im unteren Bereich kann je nach
    Wetterlage eine Geruchsbelästigung auftreten (aber man ist ja schnell durch).

    Der Preis ist angemessen, eine Kaution wurde nicht erhoben.”
