Modern and light holiday apartment with a terrace, quietly situated, near the landing beaches

This apartment is quietly situated in the centre of the village and near all of the quick transport connections for getting to the places of tourist interest. The village is eight kilometres from the town centre of Caen and six kilometres from the trade fair site. The owner lives on the upper floor of the house.

The separate apartment of 50m² with a modern interior used to be the village pharmacy. It is on the ground floor of the house, has a separate entrance (from the parking area opposite the owners’ entrance) and can accommodate three or four people. The modern kitchen is fully-equipped with a gas stove, microwave, fridge, freezer compartment and coffee machine. The living and dining room has a dining corner with a table and four chairs. The living room provides a sofa bed (130 cm x 200 cm) with a quality mattress, an LCD flatscreen TV, a DVD player, radio and mini CD player, as well as books and board games. The bedroom has a new (2016) double bed measuring 160 cm x 200 cm and a cupboard with shelves. The bathroom provides big shower and a washbasin. There is also a second washroom with a separate WC. The washing machine is in a corner in the hallway. Wireless Internet access is available.

The terrace provides garden furniture, deckchairs and a charcoal grill. There is a private parking space that can be closed off by an automatic gate.

The apartment is near all the necessary shops. The sea is 20km away. There are many places of tourist interest within 50km, including the landing beaches, Arromances, Bayeux, Caen, Cabourg, Deauville, Honfleur, Mont Saint Michel (110 km), Etretat, the Norman Switzerland, a leisure park, a zoo and forests. You can go swimming, visit museums or enjoy cultural activities.

    “Het huis was een prima keuze. We werden bij aankomst zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaren met een drankje. Huis had een (kleine) keuken, grote woonkamer en slaapkamer. Wat opviel was dat het lekker koel was in de woning ondanks de hoge temperatuur (30 graden). Ook was er een buitenterras aan de voorzijde. Woning was goed beveiligd met hekwerk.”

    “Die Wohnung ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet mit WLAN. Sie liegt ebenerdig. Das Auto steht sicher im Hof. Das Schlafzimmer jedoch ist recht dunkel mit nur kleinen Fenstern. Kellerlage. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und liebenswert, auch sehr hilfsbereit.”

    “Het huisje is perfect! Het is schoon, groot genoeg en alles is er.
    De prijs is zeker niet teveel in verhouding met wat je ervoor terug krijgt.
    De verhuurders zijn erg attent, aardig en niet opdringerig.
    Ondanks dat wij geen frans spreken konden wij onze vragen kwijt bij hun en kregen wij antwoord.
    En van de omgeving weten zij ook veel.
    Het was een prettige vakantie ervaring!”

    “Die Wohnung ist geräumig, sauber und gemütlich. Die wohl landestypische gemeinsame Bettdecke im Doppelbett ist sicher nicht jedermanns Sache (wir hatten wohlweißlich Schlafsäcke mit). Kontakt zu den Gastgebern hatten wir mit Ausnahme einer Abschiedszusammenkunft nur im Bedarfsfall. Dabei war es sehr hilfreich, dass die Wirtin auch Deutsch spricht.”
