The village of Piovere is an old and picturesque place belonging to the municipality of Tignale. It is located in very quiet area in the heart of the Alta Garda Bresciano nature park, just 4 km from the lake.

The "Il fondaco" house is located in the historic centre of Piovere. From here you can enjoy a magnificent view of the lake. The house offers three comfortable holiday apartments: a penthouse apartment (90 sqm), the Fico apartment (75 sqm) and the Taverna apartment (50 sqm).

Parking spaces are just 50 metres away. We guarantee you a roofed storage area for your bikes, mountain bikes and surfboards. 100 meters away there is a swimming pool that can be used for free

Piovere is the ideal place for a holiday in contact with nature, where relaxation and sporting activities such as hiking and mountain biking, sailing and windsurfing alternate with each other. It is also the ideal place for children because there is no traffic. You can also bring along dogs and other pets. Just a ten minute walk along a footpath is the small Silvia farm with its large olive grove and a beautiful view of the lake. As a guest, you can visit the farm, and sample olive oil (and other typical products manufactured here). Furthermore, you will be in direct contact with nature and animals.

For excursion destinations nearby, we recommend to you: the Sanctuary of Monte Castello, the church of San Pietro, the visitor centre of the Alto Garda Bresciano nature park and the "Prato della Fame" orangery.

The farm can also accommodate sports groups (cyclists, walkers, surfers, sailors, etc.), as there are three separate accommodation units, with the possibility of housing up to 10-12 people in total.

Apartment Attico

The old rural house, expertly renovated keeping intact the peculiarities of the ancient peasant buildings, is located in the historic center of Piovere and is only a 7/8 minute walk from the farm, where it is possible to taste some typical products, in particular the extra virgin olive oil. Here there is also an area equipped for sunbathing and a barbecue area for preparing grilled meals.



The “Attico” apartment is composed of a large living room with spectacular lake view, with fireplace, kitchenette with dishwasher, satellite TV, two double bedrooms, bathroom with shower. One of the bedrooms consists of three single beds or a double bed and a single bed, while the other bedroom has a double bed. The apartment is spread over two floors and is suitable for five people.



The accommodations can be connected to each other to accommodate groups of up to 12 people. Guests can visit the small cellar where salami and cheeses were once matured and where they can now purchase 0 km products, such as oil, vegetables and seasonal fruit. At the farm 10 minutes from the house, a barbecue area with an amazing lake view is available to guests.


Customers of the structure from 1 June to 10 September can access the swimming pool of the Al Poggio restaurant for free, reachable on foot in a few minutes.

    “Es war ein toller Urlaub. Die Wohnung liegt direkt neben der Kirche. Dass die Glocken ab 7 Uhr bimmeln hat uns nicht gestört. Es ist ein wunderbarer Ort zum Abschalten. Die kleinen Gassen sind sehr gemütlich. Silvia ist eine klasse Gastgeberin. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.”

    “Im großen und ganzen hatten wir ein paar schöne Tage im November und man nennt es vielleicht meckern auf „hohen Niveau „ aber wir hätten etwas mehr von der Unterkunft erwartet bzw. kennen das anders. Wir waren für 4 Übernachtungen zu Gast. Möchte man die Heizung im November nutzen, zahlt man €60,-/ Tag extra( das empfinden wir als etwas überzogen und unangemessen). Daher haben wir dies dankend abgelehnt Wir wussten dies vorher und hatten uns ganz auf den Kamin verlassen (Brennholz inklusive) … Leider hatten wir nur max. 1 Körbchen pro Tag zur Verfügung. Also für ein romantisches „Sit In“ am Abend ganz nett aber zum tatsächlichen beheizen der 90qm eher unrealistisch! Das Badezimmer war unerträglich kalt und natürlich trocknet so auch kein Handtuch. Die Böden sind alle gefliest und somit war also echt kalt‍ (Kleiner Tip: Gästepantoffel aus Filz kosten keine 3,-€ und könnten echt investiert werden)Handtücher (2St. pro Person) sowie die Bettwäsche waren gefühlt von 1945 . Im Bad waren die Handtuchstange gebrochen, der Clopapierhalter defekt, der Toilettensitz locker, also einfach irgendwie abgerockt.
    Salz und Pfeffer gab es, aber leider waren die Mahlwerke geklaut oder abhanden gekommen.. somit nicht nutzbar! Kaffee oder Tee Fehlanzeige! Kerzen oder Teelichter, Müllbeutel oder Spüttuch ebenfalls Fehlanzeige! Also eigentlich hätte man tatsächlich den kompletten Hausstand mitschleppen müssen! Das kennen wir so nicht da es sich hier um Pfennigartikel handelt die man in einer Ferienwohnung einfach erwartet! Genauso vielleicht 2 Sofakissen oder eine Decke… einfach Kleinigkeiten die es heimelig machen haben einfach gänzlich gefehlt. Schade eigentlich aber wir haben das Gefühl hier wird einfach nur das Gebäude ausgesaugt und Geld verdient ohne wirklich etwas zu tun was Dich als Gastgeber auszeichnet.
    Wir möchten nicht unfair sein, es war trotzdem nett und vielleicht ist dies auch ein allgemeines Problem in Italien das man am Gardasee die Aussicht bezahlt und sonst nichts erwarten darf. Man hätte mit wenig Geld und Aufwand viel mehr Gastlichkeit vermitteln können.Unser Resümee daraus ist… man kann dort Urlaub machen, muss man aber auch nicht! Positiv: Der Ausblick aus der Dachgeschosswohnung mit Blick war wunderschön! Negativ: Die Ausstattung der Apartments war wenig komfortabel oder Gastfreundlich.. man hätte viel mehr rausholen können als Gastgeber um Preis- Leistung zu rechtfertigen.”
