3-room house 50 m2 on 2 levels. Simple and rustic furnishings: 1 room with 1 double bed. Shower/bidet/WC. Upper floor: (spiral staircase) small living/sleeping room with 1 x 2 bunk beds, TV. Kitchen-/living room (oven, 4 gas rings) with open-hearth fireplace and dining table. Exit to the veranda. Solar power. Natural stone floors. Terrace. Terrace furniture, deck chairs (2). Very beautiful panoramic view of the lake and the mountains. Please note: non-smokers only. Maximum 3 pets/ dogs allowed. Wood stove in the corridor of the raised ground floor. The refrigerator works on gas. A solar panel supplies the house with electricity (voltage 12 V), the quantity is limited.

Private: property 1'000 m2, terraced garden with trees. 150 m long bumpy, steep, narrow motor access to the house (150 m via unmade road, ramp). Stepped path (3 steps) to the house. Parking at 150 m. Grocery 1.2 km, supermarket 5 km, restaurant 3 km, bar 1.3 km, bus stop 3 km, pebble beach "San Vito" 3.3 km. Marina 3.5 km. Nearby attractions: Museo della Barca Lariana, Chiesa di S.Martino, Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Lago di Mezzola, Lago di Lugano. Hiking paths: Sasso di Musso- Chiesa Santa Eufemia, Chiesa San Domenico-Cremia, Rifugio La Canua. Please note: car recommended. Animals in the neighbourhood. Access via a steep concrete ramp (approx. 180m wide) plus a short gravel path, not suitable for low-suspension cars. Small cars can be parked 20m from the house while the others about 150m.

    “Das Ferienhaus ist einfach, aber ausreichend ausgestattet, einsam gelegen im Bergwald mit einem schönen Olivengarten und vor allem einem grandiosen Blick auf den See und die Berge. Der Vermieter wohnt gar nicht weit weg im unterhalb gelegenen Ort, schaut immer mal vorbei und ist sehr freundlich und bemüht Deutsch zu sprechen, sodass man bei Problemen immer einen Ansprechpartner hat. Dass es in der Wildnis dort kleine (aber ungiftige) Skorpione gibt, die auch ins Haus kommen, kann erstmal erschrecken, aber da sie sehr ruhig und nicht angriffslustig sind und sich sehr leicht fangen lassen, lernt man schnell, damit umzugehen. Der Preis ist vollauf angemessen.”

    “Das Haus hat alles, was es braucht und ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Es ist alles tip-top und die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich. Wer ruhige und abgelegene Ferien machen will, ist hier richtig, wir waren mit 2 Hunden da. Ein Auto ist hier ein absolutes Muss, da das Haus am Hang liegt oberhalb von San Vito und es nicht wirklich was in der Nähe gibt, um mal kurz zu Fuß essen zu gehen oder einzukaufen. Auch die Fahrt vom See hinauf dauert 10 bis 15 min. Auch an keinen Kühlschrank muss man sich gewöhnen :-).”
