A splendid holiday cottage for nature enthusiasts and sport fishers,looking for great fishing conditions in the sea and decent boats. Thecottage has a panoramic view of the open ocean, and is situated north onthe island Austvågøya, 2 km from the fishing village Laukvik. This partof Lofoten has an open landscape and from the cottage you can enjoy thestunning view. Experience the midnight sun on clear spring and summernights. In Laukvik's harbour you can rent the following boats: 17 ftboat with 40 hp motor incl. GPS and sonar, 17 ft boat with 30 hp motor,or to 23 ft boat with closed cubicle and 100 hp motor, GPS and sonar.Deposit on each boat. They are tied up to a floating dock. THE BOATS AREAVAILABLE BETWEEN MARCH 20TH AND NOVEMBER 1ST. You also have access to afish cleaning table. Wander along the large pier protecting the bay, andenjoy the fresh, salty sea breeze. The house has satellite TV with manyinternational channels, also many German. The area is sunny andchild-friendly. 30 km to Svolvær, the capital of Lofoten with its manyshops and restaurants.     “Ruhige Lage des Hauses, dennoch nicht einsam. Es ist im Haus alles vorhanden, was für einen Urlaub benötigt wird. Heizung auch für kühlere Temperaturen. Bei schönem Wetter Wanderung auf den Matmora, von Rangeldalen nach Delp. Der Aufstieg ist durchaus anstrengend, aber die Wanderung über den Bergrücken wirklich beeindruckend.”

    “Warm and clean and in a good location for exploring a less popular area of Lofoten. / The wood burner worked a treat. / As we stayed in winter we did not make the best use of the outside barbecue and deck area, but come midnight sun it would be a great place to spend some time. / The caretaker was attentive, providing us with all we requored.”

Man muss zusätzlich den Strom für die Außenbeleuchtung, die Heizungsanlage und für die Aufbereitung des Warmwassers bezahlen. Am Schluss wird dann sogar noch aufgerundet. Da man in Norwegen viele Außenlichter hat und die natürlich lange, aufgrund der längeren Dunkelheit brennen, pusht es die Kosten zusätzlich.
