House Arthemise

The country house is located in Brotte les Ray, a small town with 75 residents, offering true quality of life. The town offers relaxation, clean air and the possibility to go hiking, as well as fish in one of the rivers in the vicinity. The nearby forest is a nice spot to go mushrooming. The river, which runs along the town (Vannon), can also be fished in. Another nice destination is the 18th century chapel, with the arched washhouse and retable.



The 126 m² property, a semi-detached house in an old country house was awarded two pints by the Gîte de France. It can accommodate up to seven (up to nine upon request) guests. On the ground floor, you will find the living room with a wood burning stove, television, DVD player and more. The kitchen with breakfast nook is fully equipped (with electric appliances, a toaster, microwave, food processor etc.). The bedroom is furnished with a twin bed, a single bed and a cot. Both bathrooms boast a shower and a sink. One of the bathrooms also has a toilet. There is a second separate toilet. On the first floor, you will find a double bed and two bunk beds. Upon request, two additional guests can be accommodated in the living room (sofa bed).



The small garden boasts a covered, sun facing patio. The separate backyard, which is covered with an awning, is ideal for al fresco dining and relaxing.

    “Gutes Ferienhaus, um günstig Ferien zu machen mit einer grösseren Familie. Positiv: Viel Gartenfläche und Platz, um mit Kindern Zeit zu verbringen. Dorf selbst sehr ausgestorben, aber guter Ausgangspunkt, um zu verschiedenen Stränden, Schlössern und Dörfern an der Saone zu fahren. Negativ: Geschirrtücher, Frotteewäsche und Seife war keine vorhanden und im Garten gab es oft Katzenkot. Hygiene war nicht so befriedigend. Restaurant: Restaurant le „BARNAYOUT“ - Liegt direkt beim Tunnel de St. Albin mit schöner Terrasse und daneben gibt es eine gute Stelle, um in der Saone zu baden. Ausflüge: Chateau de Champlitte - Grosses Schloss mit Museum, sehr viele Informationen und interessante Exponate.”

    “Wir wurden sehr Herzlich empfangen :) Zum erholen ist es das beste was wir je hatten , Erholung pur!!!
    Leider ist im Ort keine Bar(Café) es sind aber nur ca.1,7 km bis zum nächsten Ort , wo es ein Bäcker und eine kleine Bar gibt.
    Bäcker kommt auch ( ausser Dienstag ) mit dem Wagen in den Ort (ca. 11:30-12:00)
    Für Einkauf oder zum Tanken sind es ca. 6 km wo es 2 Supermärkte und 2 Tankstellen gibt .
    In ca.20km ist die gross Stadt Gray wo es sehr viele Geschäfte gibt.”

    “Een heel leuk huis met veel voorzieningen en een heel aangename ontvangst gekregen. Het was een oud, maar proper huis. Voldoende ruimte voor onze kinderen om te spelen en ook onze twee honden waren meer dan blij met alle ruimte. Wij hebben goed weer gehad, maar ik denk dat het in de winter misschien wel een koud huisje is. In elk geval super gezellig en charmant in de zomer. Wij waren heel blij.”
