Holiday apartment for six people
The holiday apartment Ben 3 was newly renovated and furnished in 2012 and is on the second floor of the house. It affords a wonderful panoramic view over the lower town of Benneckenstein and in winter towards the ski resort with a ski lift. The apartment provides a living room with a cupboard wall, a big corner sofa, satellite TV with a DVD player and radio. The first and third bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed (180 x 200cm), a wardrobe and bedside tables, while the second bedroom has two single beds (90 x 200cm), a wardrobe and bedside tables. The fully-equipped built-in kitchen includes a four-zone ceramic hob, an oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, crockery, glasses and cutlery for 12 people. The dining room has a dining table with six chairs and a double sofa bed for any additional guests. The bathroom has a bath and WC. This apartment also has a separate “smoking corner” with a little table and two armchairs, and a little wardrobe with little cupboards. The house has a communal room for up to 17 people on the first floor with further crockery, glasses and cutlery.
Children’s travel beds and highchairs can be provided on request and are included, along with charges for heating, water and waste water, a garage, bed linen, hand and bath towels (a first set) and use of the communal room. An Internet connection is not available.
The property is a middle of terrace house with a driveway into the interior courtyard. You can book one of the three garages in the courtyard behind the house. The garden area behind the garages provides tables and garden chairs, parasols and two portable grills on the lawn. The site is fenced and so also suitable for children and dogs.
It is only 300 metres to a supermarket and the town centre, and 600 metres to a good restaurant, and 1100 metres to the train station for the Harzquerbahn railway. There is a bus stop nearby. The spa card entitles you to free bus journeys within the Harz region. In and around Benneckenstein there are good hiking paths and in winter there is a ski lift with a skiing and sledging piste, which can be seen from apartments 2 and 3. The two apartments ben 2 (no. 473512) with five beds and Ben 1 (no. 473511) with six beds are also bookable.
