The region is known for its good wind conditions for surfing, a child-friendly swimming beach at and plenty of fresh air. In the port of Skaven you can buy fresh fish, you can also fish yourself in the fjord, in the North Sea or in numerous fishing lakes. Skjern Å National Park is nearby, experience its beautiful nature. In the valley Ådalen you will meet rare and endangered species of animals and plants.
