The gîte is located within the Domaine de Barthe, a former wine estate located in the Aude valley between two famous wine regions of Corbière and Minervois. It is surrounded by vineyards, one kilometer from the villages of Douzens and Blomac and 2 km from the largest town of Capendu with many amenities, the domain is located a few hundred meters from the river Aude. At only 50 kilometers from the coast, it is in a true Mediterranean climate zone. The City of Carcassonne is 21 km away. From the gîte, many walks are available for you. The Domaine de Barthe includes a set of 4 gîtes each with private outdoor spaces. Common room on the domain with billiards, table soccer, table tennis, library and WIFI connection. Common swimming pool of 14m X6 m with beach secured by a fence. Outdoor games area common to all the accommodations, with petanque ground, barbecue area with garden furniture. Possibility of laundry service 5€ per machine of 6kg.
The apartment Fitou was an old winemaker's house that has been tastefully transformed into a 3 bedroom vacation apartment that can accommodate up to 6 people. There is a surface of 100 square meters including a living room, a dining room and an open plan kitchen, a bathroom with a family shower with a separate toilet, a double bedroom (1 bed in 180/200) main room with a shower room and toilet and 2 other bedrooms with twin beds (4 x90/200 that can be twinned). Outside is a private patio with table, chairs, barbecue and parking.
