Son Simó Vell, a typical Mallorcan wine and country estate that is still in operation, offers groups of discerning guests a villa with views, separate accommodation units, many extras and park-like grounds; rural heritage and maximum comfort have found a harmonious balance. Between olive and almond trees, vines and ancient stones, you will not only find a 16 metre pool (with outdoor pool) and a variety of idyllic terrace seating areas, but also over 3000 year old stone monuments of the Talayots, the locals from Mallorca. Hiking trails lead directly from the house into the Mallorcan mountains or to the farm bodega with its large wooden barrels, just a few steps away from the main house. As an ideal accompaniment to your barbecue, we offer you a Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon or Syrah from our own grapes, which will satisfy even wine connoisseurs.

Walk up the many steps and look through the keyhole before you step through the glass door and take in the light-flooded, elegant interior of the house. The entrance area and living room almost form a single unit and you have the best views on both sides. On the first floor of the main house and in the outbuildings, 4 double rooms and 4 junior suites with modern en-suite bathrooms have been furnished for you. White sets the tone and modern art provides splashes of colour on the walls, creating a more than stylish overall appearance that is ideal for business or private events with your own chef. Everything in the kitchen meets professional standards and the dining table can be changed from casual to elegant in just a few simple steps, depending on the occasion. Before a delicious meal, a few workouts in your own fitness room can't hurt. Afterwards, all you want to do is sink into soft cushions and savour the fine juice of the grapes... and watch the moon rise over the hills...

Apart from its proximity to the sea and the beach, Son Simó Vell has a lot to offer hikers and mountain bikers. The smaller Ma-13, which is not far away, takes you to medieval Alcúdia and the peninsula of La Victòria, where you can climb or walk round the Talaia; or take the Pollença route, enjoy markets, tasteful shops, galleries and restaurants and then stroll along Pollença's flagship promenade. For even more action, pedal hard from Alcúdia and enjoy the breathtaking views of the blue sea. From Port de Pollença, climb the mountains to Lluc and return to the starting point via Caimari, Selva and Sa Poblas. If you simply want to have fun as a family, conquer the water slides in the Hidropark... Living among vineyards on an incredible 35 hectares of land: Son Simó Vell, a magnificent country house with hotel character in a clear, modern style, offers exclusive and natural holidays in the foothills of the Serra Tramuntana; it is only a few kilometres to Alcúdia and Pollença for shopping and strolling as well as to the associated harbours and beaches such as San Pere and Es Barcarés or the Hidropark. Fresh produce and wine can be bought on the estate or at the weekly market in Sa Pobla.
