There are not many properties with six double bedrooms and six bathrooms (one guest WC). And when you add in other advantages such as family-friendliness, proximity to the beach and good value for money, there really aren't many. For this reason, we highly recommend this villa to a large family or a group of families.

But it's not just the proximity to the beach that makes this villa so attractive for families who love swimming. The property, lovingly managed and maintained by its Spanish owner, is particularly appealing due to its spaciousness and relatively low price per night. White linen sheets sway gently in the soft breeze that blows in from the sea over the rolling hills to the villa. They give the outdoor area of this beautiful villa a very special charm. Together with the newly built pool terrace, which is also covered with a white cloth, a wonderful chill-out area is created with a great view of the neighbouring, bright blue pool and the fields and meadows beyond. The outdoor area has 20 seating areas and 12 sun loungers. The pool is ideal for families and especially for children, as it has a stepped entrance and a small ladder. This means that younger guests also have the opportunity to splash around on the upper steps, under supervision of course.

The villa can be entered through the main entrance or through one of the large patio doors. If you enter via the main entrance, you will reach the foyer, which is over five metres high, which in turn leads to the living area on the ground floor or the upper floor via a large staircase. Even if you are travelling with one or more families, you won't have to queue for the toilet in the morning thanks to the large number of bedrooms and bathrooms. There is enough space for up to 12 people and the two first-class baby cots offer additional space for two babies travelling with you. The villa has a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a living room, which in turn has a flat-screen satellite TV and WiFi. You can send the latest holiday photos to your smartphone or tablet at any time via the internet. By the way: two bedrooms are connected, which is perfect for a couple (in one bedroom) with children (in the other). This is especially handy if you are travelling with more than one family. We therefore give Villa Pont Verd two thumbs up for families with children.

Just take a closer look at the enlarged map view of this villa's surroundings and you'll immediately realise how close it is to the glorious sandy beach of Sa Marjal (on the Costa de los Pinos). It is nestled between the residential areas of Costa and Port Verd, a former small fishing harbour that is now home to a great restaurant. If you don't feel like cooking one evening, you can simply enjoy a delicious meal here instead. The nearby coastline is lined with several other restaurants, so you can choose a different (high-quality!) restaurant every evening. The name of the villa comes from the nearby village of Port Verd and its location is one of the villa's great advantages.

The huge Port Verd holiday villa is ideal for children and is very close to the beach, near the small town of the same name on the coast of the pines (Costa de los Pinos). It is set on a plot of around 14,000 m² overlooking the sea, very close to the beach and with shopping facilities just a few minutes away (e.g. in Son Servera). Near Cala Ratjada there is a lovely beach promenade with great bars and restaurants for an evening stroll or a night out.
