The guest house is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of the Altenberg district of Bärenstein on a partially fenced plot of approx. 3500 m² directly on the Müglitz. A restaurant can be found in the neighboring villages and a store is 1 km away in the village center. The house also has a lounge with a fireplace for parties of up to 28 people. Smoking is not permitted in the apartments. Available for all apartments: WLAN (for a fee; EUR 1/day), high chair (only on request), crib (only on request), bicycle storage, sunbathing lawn on the property, barbecue area, sun loungers, parking.
Included in the total price are: Bed linen, towels, water and energy consumption, final cleaning. To be paid on site: Tourist tax. The house rules must be observed.
The 4-star vacation apartment is approx. 43 m² in size and can accommodate 2 people (+ 1 extra bed). It is located on the 2nd basement floor of the house and has a terrace with direct access to the garden. The apartment is equipped with a living room with upholstered furniture (sofa bed), flat screen TV, radio with CD player and a separate mini-kitchen with electric stove, fridge with freezer compartment, various small kitchen appliances and dining area as a bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with toilet, shower and hairdryer. The apartment has central heating.
Bärenstein is a small town in the Eastern Ore Mountains and a district of the town of Altenberg. Bärenstein is located in the Müglitz Valley, a region rich in castles with many sights and leisure activities near the Czech border and is worth a visit at any time of year. In addition to visiting the many castles and palaces in the region, it is also worth visiting one of the many museums in the area, taking a ride on the summer toboggan run in Altenberg or a trip to the Osterzgebirge wildlife park. Another excursion tip is a ride on the Müglitz Valley Railway, which also stops in Bärenstein. In summer, the densely wooded region in the Ore Mountains is an ideal area for cycling and hiking tours. In winter, the region is also a popular winter sports area. Skiers and winter sports enthusiasts can choose from over 70 km of groomed ski slopes in nearby Altenberg (approx. 9 km away). There are also lifts and the famous toboggan run is well worth a visit. There is a small store in Bärenstein. Larger supermarkets, other gastronomic facilities as well as a swimming pool and an adventure pool can be found in the neighboring villages (approx. 8 km away). The freeway access is approx. 10 km away. The state capital Dresden with its many sights, restaurants and tourist attractions is approx. 40 km away.
