Visit Svetvin?enat, where the Renaissance square ?Placa? will delight you. An important part of Svetvin?enat's cultural heritage are the preserved remains of wall frescoes in the Church of St. Vincent near the town cemetery and in the Church of St. Catherine. This special town attracts visitors with interesting and varied local events. The most famous of these is the medieval festival, where you can try your hand at medieval games. Drive to Kanfar and see the ruins of the medieval town of Dvigrad, the Lim Channel, numerous archaeological sites and a must-see visit to the native Istrian ox ? the Bo?karin. Your next destination is Pazin. Take a tour of Pazin Ka?el ? the best preserved medieval fortress in Istria and the House of Frescoes. Don't miss the Pazin Pit, which was also an inspiration for the writer Jules Verne. The must-see places that we can recommend are tourist centers: Rovinj, Pore? and Pula. In Rovinj, you can see the baroque church of St. Euphrasius. In Pore?, visit the Byzantine Euphrasian Basilica, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Don't miss a visit to the largest Istrian town of Pula, where you can see the Pula Arena, the Temple of Augustus, the Golden Gate and many other cultural and historical monuments.
