It is known for its waterfront promenade and was once a renowned spa resort of the Danube monarchy. Stroll along the Franz Joseph Promenade or go for a walk in Margarita Park. Experience the Villa Angiolina, the beautiful churches and the old historic-style hotels, such as the Kvarner Hotel, the oldest and most traditional in Opatija. Experience great beach excursions along the Riviera and return here again and again.
