A magical place in the Aude! L'Ange au Violon is a little paradise on the banks of the river, with a large outdoor area of several hectares where nature is omnipresent. This green setting also boasts a pond and a historic chapel bearing witness to a glorious past. The architecture of the gîte is atypical; this Tuscan castle, built in the 19th century, offers a unique setting for a holiday. It is ideally located, at the foot of the Montagne Noire and less than 15 minutes from the medieval city of Carcassonne. Other regional gems are less than 15 minutes from the gîte: the Cathar castles of Lastours, the Limousis cave and the village of Caunes-Minervois and its abbey.

On site, the 10-hectare park allows you to stroll through its meadow or just relax in the shade of a two- and three-hundred-year-old tree and enjoy the birdsong. The chapel on the estate is not open to visitors, but its 15th-century Gothic style will delight you. The river that runs alongside the estate and the pond are real havens of peace, so you can relax and unwind during your stay. For a refreshing dip or a moment of relaxation, the 14x7m swimming pool is yours to enjoy in complete privacy. Do you dream of having breakfast or an aperitif in this bucolic setting? Then this is the place for you! Garden furniture and a barbecue/plancha are available for family and friends to enjoy together.

Between 5 and 10 minutes by car, you'll find all the amenities you need: bakery, grocery shop, supermarkets, restaurants, etc. Everything you need to make life easier during your stay. The location is ideal if you wish to organise an event: wedding, seminar, birthday or family party, car or motorbike show or other event. The private car park is large enough to accommodate more than 28 people.

The Domaine de l'Ange au Violon - Gîte XL consists of two independent but adjoining gîtes which communicate with each other. The duplex loft with an independent entrance via a lock located on the garden level and which communicates with the château via an access via the stairs.

1st floor : - 75 m² lounge - a 75 m² dining room/equipped kitchen, with the option of dining outside under the plane trees on 4 large stone tables and benches next to the swimming pool.

First floor of the duplex : - 1 TV lounge, - Bedroom 1 (12 m²): 1 double bed (160 x 200) - Bedroom 2 (20 m²): 1 double bed (160 x 200) and 2 single beds (90 x 200) - Bedroom 3 (22 m²): 1 x 160 x 200 bed and 2 x 90 x 200 beds - Bedroom 4 (32 m²): 1 bed 160 x 200 and 2 beds 90 x 200 + WC and shower 2 separate bathrooms with shower and WC in the bedroom corridor.

From the kitchen, separated by an airlock with 2 doors, you have access to 2 other bedrooms in the château: - Bedroom/studio N°5 (25 m²) with 1 double bed (160 x 200) and 1 single bed (90 x 200) + small separate kitchen + bathroom and WC. - Bedroom 6 (18 m²) with 1 double bed (160 x 200) and 1 single bed (90 x 200) + dressing room + bathroom and WC. (in total: 5 bathrooms and 6 WCs)

The gîte is rented just for you on the estate, everything will be private, the owners live on site but you can take full advantage of the park and swimming pool.
