With its beautiful location in the middle of the idyllic countryside, Villa Karojba offers a relaxing retreat with cultural diversity, excellent gastronomy and well-known Istrian hospitality all around.
The interior exudes a stylish rural flair with wooden beamed ceilings and natural stone walls that create a warm, homely atmosphere. Two double bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom, are on the upper floor, which opens onto a pretty terrace with enchanting views. Two further bedrooms, both with double beds and en-suite bathrooms, are on the first floor. The heart of the house is the airy, open plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen, beautiful dining area and an elegant lounge with comfortable sofas and open fireplace.
The spacious lawned garden stretches around the entire house, where fragrant shrubs bloom, Mediterranean trees provide shade and well-tended hedges ensure your privacy. The focal point here is, of course, the large private pool and a charming summer kitchen with dining area, inviting you to enjoy al fresco dining.
This beautiful property promises relaxing vacation hours where you can truly unwind with your family. The main amenities are within walking distance and the breathtakingly beautiful medieval hilltop town of Motovun is only 5 km away. Motovun exudes authentic Istrian charm and history, spiced with the magnificent views over the idyllic Istrian countryside. Traditional local festivities and the renowned international film festival are hosted here, enlivening this small, quiet town. The number of must-see towns and villages is too long to list. Here we are in the heart of central Istria, one of the most beautiful regions in Croatia. It is also famous for local Teran and Malvazija grapes, olive oil, homemade cheese, prosciutto, grilled meat and of course truffles, which you can taste in the many restaurants along the region. There are numerous hiking and cycling trails, including the historic Parenzana - old railroad line, where you can experience the unique ride on the tourist train along the historic route. Horse riding, golf or simply enjoying the thermal waters of the nearby spa town add to this long list of activities. The lively coastal towns of Umag, Novigrad and Porec are also within easy reach and offer a wide range of leisure activities, good nightlife, bars and restaurants.
