Book the Bauhaus Boat (@bauhausboat) for a unique stay in The Rockaways, NYC. A 35’ reconditioned minimalist houseboat that sleeps 2-3 persons, located minutes away from Rockaway Beach, in a cozy gated Marina facing Jamaica Bay.

Our well-equipped space has a kitchenette, TV, A/C, bathroom, hot shower, multiple outdoor decks. This is an unforgettable stay within New York City, easily accessible via subway, car, bus, ferry. You can swim in the Marina, rent a Jetski, Kayak, or Pontoon, go fishing, and spend the day surfing! 3 blocks from the Boardwalk, and long stretches of amazing beaches. Or take the Q22 bus to Jacob Riis Beach and Fort Tilden.

Our Houseboat is wonderful even during off-seasons! Puzzles and board games are available on the boat. Watch planes fly over the Marina to the nearby JFK Airport on the outdoor lounge chairs. There are plenty of activities and things to do in the Rockaways, including highly rated bars, restaurants, a beautiful boardwalk and some of the best beaches in NYC. Easily accessible in NYC, via the A Train Subway, buses, car and ferry (shuttle bus to the Marina).

The Bauhaus Boat features a lofted queen-sized bed, with plenty of windows and views (and blinds for privacy) throughout the houseboat. There is also a sofa day bed for an extra guest in the TV lounge below the loft bed. A kitchenette adjacent to the loft with a toaster oven, keurig machine, coffee/tea, induction cooktops, and kitchen equipment available to use. Dry toilet and hot shower, with eco-friendly soaps and detergents onboard. Linens, bath towels and beach towels are also provided. Multiple outdoor decks on the boat with plenty of indoor/outdoor lighting.
