For a day trip we recommend the city of Kolding, where you can visit e.g. Koldinghus Castle or the Trapholt Art Museum. Or experience the historic UNESCO town of Christiansfeld, which attracts with interesting architecture and its famous gingerbread. To the delight of your children, you can also go to Billund and visit Legoland or Lalandia, two large amusement parks in the same city!
