Explore the beautiful region and nearby Mont-Saint-Michel. Cross the bay of one of the wonders of the world on foot and be enchanted by the sight. Also visit the dune beaches with golden sands of the English Channel, the D-Day beaches and all the historic sites of the Battle of Normandy. To the west is Brittany with the town of Cancale, famous for its oysters. Further north is the medieval town of Bayeux with its famous tapestry. But also Falaise, the city of William the Conqueror, further east on the edge of the Pays d'Auge, where apple orchards and stud farms line up as far as the eye can see.
