In the amazing gulf of Agios Dimitrios, where according to the myth of the tragedian Euripides ‘’Beautiful Helen’’ was born, three identically stone villas are built next to each other. They all have easy access to the beach and they accommodate up to 5 persons. GPE405 is the one on the right. It has two bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor and an open kitchen with living room on the first floor. The balcony of the first floor is the place you will sit all day long having your breakfast or a nice lunch as you enjoy the sea view and the Greek sun.
If you want to go for a swim just grab your towel and in a few steps you will be in the pebble beach of Agios Dimitrios which is in front of the house.
According to the myth, Zeus fell in love with Leda the wife of Tyndareus king of Sparta and transformed himself into a pale white swan fleeing from an eagle and took refuge into the arms of Leda. This secret, erotic union of god and mortal took place on the small rocky islet of Pefnos, near the coast of Agios Dimitrios. As a result, Leda produced an egg and led to the birth of the Dioscuri and the ‘Beautiful Helen’.
GPE403 and GPE404 are also on the same plot for bigger families or a group of friends.
For the sand lovers the beaches of Kalogria and Stoupa are an excellent choice. For those who prefer to swim in not so organized areas, the amazing beaches of Delfini, Foneas and Elies are a must visit. For the trekking fans the Mountain of Taygetos has a lot of trekking trails and routes leading to the mountain peak. The seaside villages of Kardamyli, Agios Nikolaos and Stoupa offer you a variety of choices from traditional restaurants, to coffee bars with live music. Day escapes to Ancient Olympia, Sparta, Areopoli, Limeni are some of the trips you can also do.
