Adorable house in a fantastic nature by the sea

A fresh, newly renovated charming house on the West Coast with a stunning nature environment, can we now rent out on Stenungsön, just outside Stenungsund. It is situated in the sheltered, secluded location near the forest, yet is relatively close to the community. It has sea views, private sandy beach by the sea and three terraces with sun all day.


The house is located on Södra Stenungsön, where there is much nature and very few houses.


Many opportunities for relaxation, walking, bathing, boating and fishing in beautiful nature just around the corner and also within reach of a few km to a more wild untouched nature.


Also there are much to see as tourists, being in the middle of Bohuslän, where you also can bike around the islands.


This house was previously advertized in Tourist-Online, which recently joined with Atraveo. In Tourist-Online the average satisfaction rating was 4,9 i a 5 grade scale from the 19 testimonies.



The house has a floor area of about 70 square meters in one floor. Both the house and terraces provide a splendid view of the sea and boats outside.

There are four beds in two bedrooms (extra bed possible), a living room and kitchen area, toilet and shower, fireplace, TV and high speed broadband. Also dishwasher and washing machine with tumble dryer.



The house has three terraces, facing east, south and west, thus providing sunshine from morning to night. There are outplaced sets of garden furniture and sun umbrella 


Parking of two cars is provided for just a few meters from the house, but not infringing on the views from the house.


At the private beach there are bathing and playing opportunities for children. There is also a jetty with a bathing ladder from which adults can take a swim in deep water. After a 5 minute walk through the park there is the community bathing facility for both children and adults with a jumping tower.


At the jetty lie boats which can be rented.    



The boats that can be rented are two boats with outboard engines, as well as a one-man kayak and a two-men kayak.

More information about the boats can be provided if requested. If you are interested to rent a boat, you should book it early, so that it is available for you during your stay.



Directly adjacent to our land is a nature reserve. Nearest is a park for walking, leading over a bridge out to a wonderful small island with very varied vegetation. Adjacent is also a nice hilly loop of about 3 km with some stunning views for long walks or jogging sessions.

Anyone who likes to fishing is in the right place. Fishing waters are excellent. Here are caught trout and mackerel, etc., with the spinning rod from the rocks or by boat.

At about 10 minutes walking distance is Stenungsbaden Yacht Club, with restaurants, nightclub, SPA etc.

In 5 minutes by car you can reach the village Stenungsund with all its shopping facilities for food, clothing, fishing equipment, litterature etc etc. as well as a number of restaurants.


Svartedalen, a large wild nature park with wild forests and many lakes is reached 15 km ahead There are many walking trails to choose from.


We are here in the heart of Bohuslän, and are close to many famous fishing villages such as Rönnäng, Skärhamn, Kyrkesund, Mollösund, Åstol, Dyrön, Ellös and also still relatively close to several larger communities beyond Stenungsund, such Kungalv (20 min) Marstrand (40 min), Gothenburg (40 min) and Uddevalla (40 min).

    “Fantastische locatie dichtbij alle mooie punten op de nabij gelegen eilanden. Het huisje is bijzonder goed uitgerust. De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en attent. We hebben met veel plezier gebruik gemaakt van zijn motorboot tegen een redelijke prijs. Het enige minpuntje was de toegangsweg, die opnieuw werd aangelegd tijdens ons verblijf. Maar daar zullen de volgende gasten veel baat bij hebben.”
