Nestling among vineyards and forests, Burgen, the "village of bridges", is situated in the most beautiful side valley of the Moselle, a little away from the tourist highlights. There are 19 bridges and footbridges in the village alone.
If you want to escape the stress and noise of the city, you've come to the right place. But Burgen offers more than just peace and quiet and the experience of nature - numerous award-winning hiking and cycling trails with magnificent views, e.g. the Moselle Cycle Path and the Moselle Climb, are close by. The beautiful Moselle wine town of Bernkastel-Kues with its historical sights is only 10 km away. Within a radius of 40 km you can reach Idar-Oberstein, Cochem, Trier or excursion destinations such as Beilstein, Herrstein as well as the Geierslay suspension bridge in Mörsdorf, or the Hochmosel crossing at Zeltingen-Rachtig.
Modern, spacious, comfortable and tasteful, our holiday flat is located in the middle of the village in a quiet side street with residential traffic only. Equipped with everything you need for a beautiful and relaxing holiday.
The flat is on the ground floor, no steps. There is a parking space directly in front of the front door.
Here, framed by roses and flowerbeds, you will find an outdoor seating area with garden furniture and a permanently installed barbecue. Bicycles can be stored in the garden house. A charging station is available for electric cars. Gastronomy is available in the village.
