Von hier aus können Sie Bad Tabarz, Gotha, Eisenach, Erfurt, Weimar problemlos mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichen. In unmittelbarer Nähe erschließt sich Ihnen mit dem Rennsteig „Deutschlands größter Wanderweg“.
Oberhalb des Kurparks von Friedrichroda ist unsere schöne Maisonette-Wohnung. 100 m entfernt befindet sich eine Haltestelle der Waldbahn. Neben Wandern am Rennsteig bietet Ihnen der Thüringer Wald in diesem Sommer „Natur pur“ und „historische Sehenswürdigkeiten“.
