Easter Ende Cottage is a beautiful and spacious holiday home located a short drive from the North Yorkshire coast in the peaceful village of Burton Fleming. Situated in beautiful private gardens, with its own small woodland, this property is the perfect home for enjoying both the indoors and out. Sleeping up to twelve guests across five bedrooms, this spacious and well-designed property is ideal for a family get together or group getaway.

The Space:
Easter Ende Cottage is a delightful, well equipped holiday home featuring stylish interiors, quality fixtures and fittings and a wonderful outdoor space.

Enter the cosy and welcoming living room and be greeted with plush fabric sofas, a traditional style log burner, a large selection of activities and books and a large flat screen TV. With a cool colour palette and luxurious soft furnishings this space is the perfect spot to relax with your loved ones.

The second living area overlooks the gardens, and is flooded with light thanks to the large picture windows. It is home to two sofas, a large swivelling snuggle chair and a flat screen TV. From here you can step out through the patio doors directly into the large, private garden area.

At the heart of the property is the beautifully spacious kitchen-dining area. The fully equipped kitchen features a range cooker and a wide range of appliances ensuring you have everything you need to prepare home cooked meals. With all cookware, dinnerware, cutlery, and glassware provided you will have everything you need to enjoy your staycation. A large log burner, 12 seater dining table and cosy seating area makes this room the social centre of your stay.
Leading from the kitchen-dining room is a utility room with a separate large capacity washer and dryer. The downstairs WC and back door are also located off the main room.
The first bedroom completes the ground floor. Featuring a king size bed, two bedside tables, matching lamps, wall mounted smart TV and simple soft furnishings this room is a classic and restful space.

A further four bedrooms can all be found on the first floor. The first bedroom on this floor has a modern king bed, console table, smart TV, metal bedside tables and two feature lamps. There is also ample storage for a short break or longer stay. The ensuite bathroom is home to a large shower, WC, and basin.

The third king room is a large loft style bedroom. The bed sits in the centre of the room with a Velux window either side and handmade wooden units built around the side with storage areas and ample surface space. From the bed you have views of the garden, and fields beyond, through floor to ceiling windows, while still maintaining privacy. The mezzanine is accessed from this room, through a door that can be locked if required. A comfortable armchair adds a pop of colour to the room. With a private dressing area and shower room just a few steps away this is the perfect master suite.

The fourth bedroom is a family room with a double bed and a bunk bed, with plenty of storage in the large built-in wardrobes. This space is ideal if you are travelling with young children.

The final bedroom is a stylish twin. With matching single beds and built in storage. The two velux windows provide stunning views of the sunrise over the garden and neighbouring fields.

The final room on the first floor is the modern and bright family bathroom. Home to a roll top bath with a handheld shower, a generously sized walk-in shower, WC and basin.

A real highlight to this wonderful property is the stunning scenery and the extensive, private gardens surrounding the cottage. With flower beds, a large lawns, fruit cages and a small woodland area and outdoor furniture.

A purpose-built summer house sits close to the main property, with sofa seating, a bar, electrical sockets and a selection of games, this is a wonderful space to be enjoyed by all the family.
The property is well equipped for families, with an extensive selection of toys, sports equipment, books and classic and modern board games available for guests to use during their stay. The garden has play equipment, a wooden wendy house and plenty of room for sports on the large lawns or den building in the small enclosed woodland.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

Private on-site parking is available for up to five vehicles.

The Neighborhood:
Easter Ende Cottage is located in the peaceful village of Burton Fleming. There’s a Pub, village shop and post office, duck ponds, a children’s playground and a beautiful round-walk around farmland and wildflower meadows. You’ll find an abundance of walking routes a short drive away, including the Yorkshire Wolds Way national trail. There are many coastal paths, including spectacular walks around Flamborough Head, Filey Brigg, Danes Dyke and the RSPB site Bempton Cliffs,, ensuring everyone is catered for when it comes to hiking in the area.

In Filey, you’ll find long stretches of beach and a charming town centre. Quieter than your typical coastal resort, Filey is the perfect choice for those wanting a fun-filled yet peaceful day on the coast.

Also within short driving distance is the Victorian resort of Bridlington. Known for its lovely beaches and scenic views, the town has a variety of attractions including Sewerby Hall and Gardens, Bridlington South Beach, Bridlington North Beach, Bridlington Animal Park, Bondville Model Village and Danes Dyke Nature Reserve. Bridlington is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a beautiful mix of the coast and countryside.

The market town of Driffield has retained its traditional character, even today, so you can expect to find plenty of history within the town. We recommend visiting the 500-year-old tower at Sledmore House, or heading for a quick tipple in one of the town’s historic pubs.

Getting Around:
Burton Fleming is within short driving time of Filey, Bridlington, Driffield and Scarborough so you’ll be able to explore plenty of attractions at your own leisure.

The closest train station can be found in Hunmanby. Here you’ll find direct routes to Filey, Bridlington, Scarborough, Hull and Sheffield.

Guest will be refunded the full amount of the booking fees (minus our Fees) if (s)he cancels the booking up to 1 month prior to his/her arrival day (check-in) to Host’s accommodation.
Guest will be refunded 50% of the booking fees (minus our fees), if (s)he cancels the booking up to 2 weeks prior to his/her arrival (check-in) to Host’s accommodation.
All cancellations must take place by 12:00 (midday) according to the Central European Time (CET), on the appropriate day.
