Nestled in a meander of the Rance, close to a bridge linking the villages of Curvalle and Plaisance, the house was probably used in the 19th century as a place of lodging and rest for people moving on foot or on horseback.
This old house, family heirloom, is part of the heritage of the villages of Curvalle and Plaisance, between Tarn and Aveyron. Isolated on 1 ha of meadow, it will bring you peace, greenery, and freshness, close to the amenities of the village of Plaisance (5 minutes walk). Starting from a barn without water or electricity, Roger, Françoise and Florie carried out, for five years, a high quality renovation that preserves the authenticity of the site and the building. Out of conviction, and without neglecting comfort, they preferred ecological choices (slates, stones, lime, earth, wood and local products, solar energy, wood heating, etc.). Lovers of hiking and cycling (road bike and mountain bike) will find an ideal environment. The Tarn valley, the Grands Causses Natural Park, the terroir of Roquefort, the Episcopal City of Albi (UNESCO World Heritage Site) will all be tourism opportunities...
