You will spend your vacation between Ardèche and Vaucluse, near the Côtes du Rhône wine route and the charming botanical village of Grignan with its Renaissance castle. Also visit the fortified and flower-filled town of Montélimar, the capital of nougat, and the historic village of Viviers, known for its marina and thatched cottages. Also well worth a visit are the charming listed villages of Alba la Romaine, known for its archaeological museum. St. Montant, a medieval village of character built entirely of local stone, should also not be left out of your exploration. The elevated and fortified town of La Garde Adhemar, known for its gastronomy and its delicious, mysterious Val des Nymphes lodging completes your excursion. Discover the Abbey of Notre Dame d'Ayguebelle and the tropical reserve of the crocodile farm, which will especially delight your children.
