Nestled at an altitude of 430m in a natural environment and in an authentic old stone house, the Petite Maison dans la Prairie opens its doors to you for a stay where rest and tranquillity are the key words! Cassaignes is a small, picturesque and very quiet village with a preserved architecture located in front of the Pyrenees mountain range and with a view on Rennes-le-Château and the Pic de Bugarach. There are many activities to do in the area, including hiking through the beautiful countryside from the gîte and a mountain bike circuit. You can also discover the richness of the local heritage: the spa of Rennes-les-Bains, the mysterious treasure of Rennes-le-Château, the charming village of Alet-les-bains or the castle of Arques and all this less than 15 minutes from your stay! The gîte is independent with direct access to the shaded meadow. On site, you will have a private terrace with garden furniture and barbecue and a large outdoor space ideal for children, the village being a very rare place of passage.

The gîte is on one level and comprises a living room with a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a sitting area with a sofa bed and a TV. A bedroom with a double bed. An independent shower room with a shower, a basin and a washing machine. An independent WC. WIFI connection in the gîte. Our friends the animals are accepted. Private parking on site. Sheets, towels and cleaning  are extra. You may be charged €45 (price of the option bookable on the website) for end-of-stay cleaning when you check out, but only if the housework has not been done and you have not taken up the option beforehand.
