Nearby is a pier that offers excellent fishing and swimming.
There is also the possibility to rent a boat on request.

The vacation home offers a variety of beautiful hiking opportunities to Hovda, Steinlandsnuten and Lysenuten with fantastic views all the way to Stavanger, Stord and Folgefonna.

Himakånå, which is a short drive away, is also worth a visit.

If you want to join a guided tour on foot, by kayak or by bike, there are also good opportunities for that.

The climbing park in Nedstrand, Haugaland Zoo and the Viking farms in Karmøy are interesting activities for the whole family.

In winter, the Sauda ski resort, an hour's drive away, is worth a visit. Sauda offers both alpine facilities, lighted cross-country ski trails and a water park.

If you want to go shopping or eat in a good restaurant, it is only a short drive to the beautiful town of Haugesund.

Stavanger (114 km) is ideal for a day trip, but of course extra driving time must be expected.

If you want to spend relaxing days with barbecue and fishing, hiking in the beautiful landscape of Western Norway or quiet city tours, this is the ideal place for your vacation.
